Transformation Tuesday - Just Because

Good morning to you, friends! I'm popping in today to share a card for Transformation Tuesday with Papertrey Ink. I always tend to lean towards clean and simple designs, so that's what I did again for today. I chose an older CAS card and did a very simple transformation into yet another CAS card.

Here is my original card that I created back in July. You can find it right HERE!

For today, I simply switched up my sentiment and swapped out the heart on my original card for a butterfly.

I used Sentiment Staples: Just A Note and stamped the sentiment in the following colors … Pale Peony, Bright Buttercup, Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores and Green Parakeet. Next, I stamped 'because I miss you', in True Black, onto a strip of white and attached it with dimensional foam.

Just underneath my sentiments I added a strip of Bright Buttercup cardstock.

And last, but not least, I added a die-cut butterfly from Make It Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Butterflies. I added dimensional foam behind that before attaching it and then finished my card off with a few colorful sequins.

I'm thinking that creating a set of all occasion cards with the entire Sentiment Staples collection would be a great gift idea. And with this CAS design it would take no time to mass produce them! What do you think?

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, friends. I hope you have a happy Tuesday!

xo,
Melissa

  1. "Just A Note" cards are my favorite to send! I agree on the Sentiment Staples sets, you could use that same layout with all of them! I love the strip of color across the bottom, might have to add that to some of mine, it really makes a big difference!

  2. this works really well here with that swoopy font, that mimics the swoopiness of a butterfly! It's so clever to use a sentiment like this!
