CardMaker + Prickley Pear Blog Hop

Happy Friday to you! We are ending the week with a special blog hop featuring Prickley Pear. You should have arrived here from the blog of Sharon Smith. Incase you get lost along the way, you can find the full list of hoppers on the CardMaker blog

For my card today, I used the sweet Bold Daisies image. I kept my card clean and simple, with a white card base and colorful flowers. I simply stamped the daisies three times across the bottom of my card and colored them in with Copic markers. The centers of the daisies are bare, but I wanted to add a little something to them and decided to pull out my black Zig pen. So simple to create a design, yet adds so much to the flowers.

To complete my card, I stamped the Life Is Not About sentiment just above my flowers and a few sequins randomly around both the flowers and sentiment.

Prickley Pear is hosting a giveaway on their blog for a $20 gift certificate to their online store. Be sure to stop by and see how you could enter for a chance to win!

Your next stop in the hop is Tracie Clary.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Enjoy your day and happy hopping!

CardMaker + Lil' Inker Designs Blog Hop

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Welcome to the CardMaker and Lil' Inker Designs blog hop. I'd say this is an awesome way to end the week, wouldn't you? You should have arrived here from the super talented, Jessica Frost-Ballas. If you get lost at any point along the way you can find the complete list of hoppers on the CardMaker blog.

I have three cards to share with you today. All of them feature the Sweet Celebration stamp set/dies and the Celebrate word die. I had so much fun creating with these and hope you enjoy what I have to share!

For my first card, I die cut my heart in two colors, hot pink and bright yellow. I first adhered the hot pink outlined heart onto my card base and then attached the yellow heart on the inside. Next, came the embellishing.

I die cut 'Celebrate' in orange and attached that to the front of the heart. I then die cut the banner, from the Sweet Celebration die collection, and stamped the rest of the sentiment before attaching it with dimensional foam. I finished this card off off with a few stamped flowers, leaves and sequins.

Card #2 : Celebrate YOU using more of those sweet hearts, flowers and sequins!

A closer look at the second card. I chose to include the inside of the letters in 'Celebrate' for something a bit different.

And last, but not least and probably my favorite out of all three. I cut strips of happy and colorful card-stock, attached them all to another piece of card-stock and then die cut the heart using that. So simple, but it just makes me smile!

Laura is giving away a $35 gift certificate to one lucky winner today! It could be you. Don't miss your chance to hop around and enter for your chance to win!

Your next stop in the hop is the amazing Karen Baker.

Thanks for visiting with me today. Happy hopping!

CardMaker + Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

Happy Monday to you, crafty friends! We are kicking off this brand new week with an exciting CardMaker blog hop, featuring Pretty Pink Posh. You should have arrived here from the awesome blog of Stephanie Gold. If you didn't, you can find the complete list of hoppers on the CardMaker blog.

I love the new sets that Paulina recently released. They are absolutely the sweetest images and I couldn't wait to start creating with them.

I used the Easter Friends stamp + die collection, along with the new Scallop Square Tag Dies, to create my card for today. I started by die cutting the girl, boy and basket and then stamped and colored them in. I'll link all of the colors I used at the end of my post. After those were finished, I set them aside and moved onto my tag. I die cut two of them...one in white and one in green and then used a large circle die to die cut the green one to create my 'hill'. I attached that to the white tag and then attached the adorable girl and boy. I wrapped a bit of hot pink twine around the bottom of the tag and then adhered it to my white card base using dimensional foam.

Next came my sentiment...don't you just LOVE that font!! After stamping that, I added a strip of teal cardstock along the bottom.

And lastly, I added a few sequins from the pretty pink Friendship mix.

CardMaker + Grafix Arts Blog Hop

Happy Monday and welcome to the CardMaker and Grafix Arts Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from the blog of the super talented Heather Pulvirenti. If you think you may have missed a stop, you can hop right back to the CardMaker blog where you will find the complete list of hoppers.

For today, we were asked to create a little something using one of the fantastic products from Grafix Arts. I chose to work with their vellum. I love the look of vellum on a project and don't use it as often as I would like, so this was the perfect opportunity to create with it.

I thought of butterflies instantly and chose the Up the Happy set from Ellen Hutson to work with. After die-cutting multiple vellum butterflies, using the butterfly from the Up the Happy die collection, I stamped each using Versamark and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I then colored them in using Copic markers, giving them a pretty stained glass look.

Here's a closer look. I just love the way these turned out!! After attaching all of the colorful butterflies to my card front, I added sequins to the centers of each one, and lastly stamped my sentiment.

Your next stop in the hop is Katie Gehring.

CardMaker + Lawn Fawn Blog Hop

Happy Friday, everyone and welcome to the CardMaker and Lawn Fawn Blog Hop. I'm so happy to be posting today and sharing two cards with you using the most adorable set from Lawn Fawn ... Love Letters. I must say that I am completely smitten with this set. The sweet little birds and those envelopes ... LOVE!

My first card features a little masking...something I haven't done in quite some time. I stamped the heart envelope on a post it note, cut it out and then used it as my guide for stamping my envelopes along the left side of my card.

Next came the little bird and pen, that were both die cut and colored in using Copics. I stamped my sentiment and then attached those just above, using dimensional foam. Along the right side, I added a strip of red plaid paper, from the Perfectly Plaid Christmas collection. And lastly, a few sequins.

More sweet birds and envelopes on card #2. I used the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables for my images and sentiment to sit on and more of the red plaid paper along the top and bottom of my card.

I love the script sentiments and love how they fit perfectly on the paper inside the envelope. Such a fun set that's not only perfect for creating Valentine's cards, but so much more!

Your next stop in the hop is Kat Benjamin.
