Ink to Paper - February Release Countdown - Day 4

Welcome to the final day of this month's Ink to Paper Release Countdown. Everything we've been sharing with you will be available tomorrow, February 15th, at 10pm EST. Until then, we have one more day of projects and today we are featuring Bouquet Backdrop Die, Border Bling: Chain Die and Inside Greetings: Get Well.

The new Border Bling: Chain Die is so much fun to create with! I knew instantly when I saw it what I was going to do. For my first card, I started by die-cutting it out of True Black and attached it to the front of my white card base. I then die-cut it 3 times more, out of Orange Zest, Hawaiian Shores and Raspberry Fizz.

After filling in some of the empty spaces with the colorful pieces, I stamped the sentiment, hello gorgeous, from Blossoming Branches

Now for that big, bold Bouquet Backdrop! I first die-cut it out of Spring Moss and then die-cut it again three more times out of Orange Zest, Hawaiian Shores and Raspberry Fizz. I trimmed the flowers off of those and then attached them over the Spring Moss boquet.

I created my second card using the same products I used on the first card, except this time the sentiment is from Inside Greetings: Get Well. I went with a cheerful rainbow color scheme this time around.

Again, I die-cut and trimmed the flowers out of the Bouquet Backdrop die. I love how you can stretch a product a little further and use it more than just the way it was created to be used!

That wraps up this release countdown for me. Thank you for stopping by to visit and for your sweet comments. I truly appreciate it!

Ink to Paper - February Release Countdown - Day 3

Day 3 of the Ink to Paper Release Countdown is filled with lots of Easter goodness. Today we are featuring Love My Peeps, Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame Die, Risen and To Die for Sentiments: Happy Easter Die.

**All of the new products will be available February 15th at 10pm EST!**

Love My Peeps and Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame Dies are up first for today. The images in Love My Peeps are the sweetest! I started by stamping and die-cutting all of my bunnies and eggs. I chose a springy color combination of Pale Peony, Hawaiian Shores, Harvest Gold, Melon Berry and Raspberry Fizz.

I placed them all along the bottom of the stitched frame that was die-cut out of Hawaiian Shores cardstock. Just above them I stamped the sentiment (my favorite from the set), you're one of my favorite peeps!

And to finish it, I simply added a few clear sequins around the sentiment!

Up next is the beautiful floral cross set, Risen, along with the To Die for Sentiments: Happy Easter Die. I chose Lilac Grace, Limeade Ice and Raspberry Fizz for my color combo!

After assembling the cross, I attached it to my Stampers Select White card base and then added Happy Easter below that. I felt it needed just a little something extra, so I attached a strip of Bitty Big: Lilac Grace paper along the side!

Just one more day to go before all of these wonderful new products will be available to you! See you tomorrow for the final day, friends!

Ink to Paper - February Release Countdown - Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of the Ink to Paper Release Countdown, friends! Today, I'm sharing a few cards featuring the beautiful new Bold Blooms, along with Border Bling: Embossed Frame Die and To Die for Sentiments: Risen Die.

**All of the new products will be available February 15th at 10pm EST!**

I adore a beautiful floral set and the new Bold Blooms makes my creative heart swoon! I mixed the flowers, leaves and the beautiful scripty font with the new Border Bling: Embossed Frame Die to create my first card!

I started by die-cutting the frame four times out of Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz, Berry Sorbet and Harvest Gold. I trimmed each of the sides and then reassembled the frame to create the multi colored frame! After stamping and die-cutting all of the flowers and leaves, I attached those in the bottom corner.

Lastly, I added that beautiful scripty sentiment, along with another flower tucked behind that!

On my next card I started by die-cutting/embossing the Border Bling: Embossed Frame Die directly onto my Tropical Teal card base. Next, I die-cut/embossed a piece of white cardstock and then using the lines as a guide, I trimmed down the card panel to fit the front of my card. It's hard to see the embossed lines on the white, but they are there.

Using the long stems in the Bold Blooms set, I stamped a bundle of flowers and underneath added the sentiment. Lovely is part of the Border Bling: Embossed Frame Die!

I popped up the floral panel with dimensional foam and then added a few clear sequins to complete it.

Last for me today, He is Risen, created with the To Die for Sentiments: Risen Die along with two floral sprigs, from Bold Blooms!

I used the inlaid technique for the sentiment. After setting that in my card, I stamped my leaves and flowers directly onto my card front.

Thank you for stopping by to visit today. I'll see you right back here tomorrow with even more goodies to share with you!

Melissa

Ink to Paper - February Release Countdown - Day 1

Good morning! It's Day 1 of the February Ink to Paper Release Countdown and we're so excited to share all of the new products with you for this month. Up for today is Blossoming Branches, Border Bling: Skinny Vees Frame Die and Just Sentiments: Easter!

**All of the new products will be available February 15th at 10pm EST!**

My first card features the Blossoming Branches and Border Bling: Skinny Vees Die. I always love trying new things with any of the Ink to Paper border dies and that's just what I did for today. I chose a few different colors, die-cut them all and attached them to the front of my card before trimming off the excess!

Included with Border Bling: Skinny Vees Die is also the hello die. I die-cut that out of white and attached it in one of my frame sections. Thinking of you today and always was stamped in Fresh Snow and then attached with dimensional foam.

And last, but not least, the beautiful flowers. from Blossoming Branches, were stamped, die-cut and attached!

For my second card I stamped the branches along the bottom and top and then filled in with a variety of the flowers included in the set.

I chose the He is Risen sentiment and stamped that in True Black before attaching to the center of my card. Around that I accented with a few colorful sequins!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Melissa

Ink to Paper - January Release Countdown - Day 4

Welcome back for the final day of the Ink to Paper January Release Countdown. Tomorrow night is the night when you can finally purchase all of the new products you've been seeing. We have a few more new stamp sets and dies to share with you today … Birthday Bouquet, Border Bling: Skinny Frame Die and To Die for Sentiments: Birthday!

Birthday Bouquet is up first and it is such a beautiful floral bouquet building set! Just wait til you see all of the projects created with it!

I stamped the large greenery directly on my white card base and then filled in with die-cut flowers. There are flowers of all sizes included in the set, but I focused on using the smaller images. I gave them a bit of a lift by adding dimensional foam behind each one.

I stamped one of my favorite sentiments in the set and then added a strip of Bitty Big: Harvest Gold paper along the bottom. I added a few clear sequins to my bouquet, as a final touch!

Border Bling: Skinny Frame is up next, mixed with To Die For Sentiments: Birthday. I started by die-cutting the frame four times out of the following colors … Sweet Blush, Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet and Raspberry Fizz. I then cut the sides apart and pieced the frame back together, using one of each color.

In the center of the frame I added the large sentiment. Above the sentiment I added the word 'LOVING', from Birthday Bouquet. In the two corners I added leaves from Sweet Celebrations!

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!

Melissa
