Papertrey Ink - September Release Countdown - Day 5

The final day of the September Papertrey Ink Release Countdown has arrived. What an amazing release it has been. I know it's only September, but all of these beautiful new holiday products sure do put me in the Christmas spirit … extra early this year! :) For my final day I'm sharing two cards with you and they feature Penned Elegance: Christmas, Seasonal Borders: Winter and the Poinsettia & Pine Mini Kit.

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is the Penned Elegance: Christmas set and Seasonal Borders: Winter … both such stunning sets! I started by stamping a background using the Text & Texture: Wood Slices that was introduced a couple of days ago. I attached that to a Sweet Blush card base and then moved onto the rest of my card. I used the Pierced Feature Frames: Oval for the base of my sentiment and florals.

The images in the Seasonal Borders: Winter mixed with the Penned Elegance: Christmas sentiments create the most beautiful card. Just wait til you see what the rest of the team created!

My second card features the new Poinsettia & Pine Mini Kit. Another Christmas must have! There are so many different bits and pieces included in this set, including a stamp set, dies and coordinating patterned paper. I used the tag die to create my focal point on my card. I stamped my poinsettia image, die-cut it and attached it to the tag with dimensional foam. Along the bottom of my card, I used a piece of the coordinating patterned paper, fussy cut it out and then attached it to the bottom.

I hope you've enjoyed all of my projects for this months release, as much as I enjoyed creating them. Thank you so much for popping in during the countdown and for you kind comments!

The rest of the team still have a lot to share, so be sure to head on over to the Papertrey Ink blog to be inspired!

Have a wonderful day, friends!

Papertrey Ink - September Release Countdown - Day 4

Happy Thursday, friends! Popping in this morning to share a quick card for Day 4 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. My card today features the new Glorious Globes: September set, plus the Say It Simply: Holly Jolly Die.

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

I love the Christmas wreath and sentiments in the new Glorious Globes set. I decided to create my own background using just the wreath and berry image. I stamped the wreath on a white card base in three different greens … Green Parakeet, Limeade Ice and Simply Chartreuse. I then stamped the berries in three different colors, as well … Berry Sorbet, Hibiscus and Raspberry Fizz. Because I chose the sentiment I did, I chose to stamp hearts (from Merry Mug) inside each of the wreaths in the berry colors I just mentioned.

My sentiment was die-cut using the new Say It Simply: Holly Jolly Die. I just trimmed the Christmas portion out and used it along with one of the sentiments in Glorious Globes: September. To complete my card I added a strip of Kraft cardstock along the side, white twine and a few clear sequins for some sparkle.

It's short and sweet for me today, but you'll want to head on over to the Papertrey Ink blog where there is so much more to see.

Have a great day, friends and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the final day of the countdown!

Papertrey Ink - September Release Countdown - Day 3

Hey, crafty friends! We're half way through the September Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. YAY! Are you in love with everything you've seen so far? It's pretty hard not to love just about everything the design team designs, right! Today I have the pleasure of showcasing the new Corner Adorner: September and Pierced Feature Frames: Oval dies!

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Clean and simple with lots of color … always my go to and favorite card to create. This first card features the new Corner Adorner: September. If you love Christmas lights this is going to be a must have set for you. I had so much fun adding colorful bulbs to the strings. There are two different string images and 4 different lights included in the set. And also coordinating dies!

I stamped the strings along the bottom and top of a crisp white card base and then stamped all of the rainbow colored bulbs. The sentiment, also from Corner Adorner: September, was stamped on black and popped up with dimensional foam.

I used the tree, from the new Winter Fox that was introduced yesterday, and stamped and die-cut that to place next to the sentiment. To complete card #1 I added a few red sequins to give my tree a little sparkle and shine!

Card #2 is full of color and just makes me so happy! I used the second string of lights in the set and stamped them in the corners before stamping the bulbs in bright, cheerful colors.

To make my bulbs shiny and more realistic, I added Glossy Accents to each one. I just love how shiny they are.

The sentiment is from the new Sentiment Staples: Christmas!

And last, but certainly not least is this sweet card created with the new Pierced Feature Frames: Oval dies and a few other Papertrey goodies. I have so many paper scraps in my stash and this is such a good way to use them up. I simple adhered a bunch of red, pink and aqua strips to a white card panel and then die-cut it to create my colorful oval frame!

The mug, sentiment and hearts are all from the new Merry Mug set. Along the top I added felt flowers that were die-cut using the Corner Adorner: February die collection. The leaves are from Botanical Bounty

I want to thank you all for stopping by today and for leaving such sweet comments over the past few days. I truly appreciate your kindness. Before you log off for today be sure to head on over to the Papertrey Ink blog for more inspiration using these wonderful new products!

Have a happy day, friends!

Papertrey Ink - September Release Countdown - Day 2

Hey, friends! Welcome back for Day 2 of this month's Papertrey Ink Release Countdown! Day 1 was pretty exciting, right? I hope you're ready because Day 2 is going to be pretty spectacular, as well. I'm sharing two cards with you that were created using these new sets being introduced today … Sending You Comfort, Hinged Gift Card Box: Christmas Window, Winter Fox and Text & Texture: Wood Slices.

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Sending You Comfort is a beautiful set that features images and sentiments perfect for sending your sympathies, comfort and love to those you care about. I didn't end up using a sentiment from the set on my card, but chose to use the new Hinged Gift Card Box: Christmas Window sentiment instead. I was in full on Christmas mode, so I went with a Christmas themed card instead! :) I first started by stamping the leaves (from Sending You Comfort) randomly onto the front of my white card panel. Using the dots in the set, I stamped 'berries' around the leaves. I then die cut my sentiment window out of the center.

I rounded the corners with my corner rounder punch, added a bit of white twine around the side and then popped the panel up with dimensional foam before attaching it to the front of my Aqua Mist card base.

Next up is the adorable Winter Fox set and Text & Texture: Wood Slices. On a Kraft card base I stamped one of the wood slice backgrounds, using Versamark ink. I stamped and die-cut both the fox and tree and then added foam behind those before attaching them to the front of my card. The sentiment is from the Text & Texture: Wood Slices set.

To complete it, I added a tiny star to the top of my tree, from the Stars & Stripes Die Collection, and red sequins!

That completes Day 2 for me, but there is still so much more to see. Visit the Papertrey Ink blog to check out all of the projects created for today using these wonderful new products!

I'll see you tomorrow, friends!

Papertrey Ink - September Release Countdown - Day 1

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to Day 1 of the September Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. We have lots of stamping goodness in store for you this month, including many holiday sets. I have two cards for you today featuring these new products … Merry Mug, Sentiments Staples: Christmas, Say It Simply: You & Yours and Sweet Stitching!

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is the absolute cutest holiday mug set, Merry Mug. I started by stamping and die-cutting multiple images in the set … the mug, holly, tag and hearts. I set those aside and then die-cut a frame, from Pierced Feature Frames, to attach to the front of my white card base. After that was attached I started assembling my card. The sentiment stamped on the foam is from Merry Mug and Merry Christmas, that's up in the left corner, is from the new Sentiment Staples: Christmas.

I just adore this little set and love all of the added extras that you can decorate your mug with! So fun!

Up next is Sweet Stitching and the new sentiment die, Say It Simply: You & Yours. Let me just apologize for the quality of my photos up front. I had such a hard time getting a clear shot of this card. It's so much prettier in person, I promise!

My card features not only the Sweet Stitching stamp set, but also the coordinating Sweet Stitching Impression Plate. I used it on my white card panel and it looks so beautiful. I used one of the images in the stamp set to stamp along the out edges of the panel.

After I had stamped the outer pattern, I used the Say It Simply: You & Yours die and die-cut the center of the white panel. I die-cut it again out of Kraft cardstock and then placed the Kraft sentiment inside the empty space of the white panel. To finish it, I added a few die-cut hearts from Merry Mug!

Well friends, this is just Day 1 of the countdown. I promise you there is so much more to see over the next four days. Pop on over to the Papertrey Ink blog to see what the rest of the team created for you today!

Enjoy your day!
