Ink to Paper Release Countdown - Day 4

The final day of the Ink to Paper Release Countdown has arrived. I've had so much fun creating with all of these wonderful new products! Thank you for taking the time to stop by during the countdown and for your kind comments!

Have you started making your list yet? Before you finalize it, we have a few more things to share with you today. We are finishing up the countdown with the following … Watercolor Textures: Christmas, Inside Greetings: Holiday Magic, Peaceful Forest, On the Border: Splendid Snowflake Frame and Border  Dies.

**All of the new products will be available tomorrow, September 15th at 10pm EST!**

The new Watercolor Textures: Christmas is such a sweet little set. I just love it and for only $5 it's definitely a must have. I chose the leaves and berries to create with and created a holly border around my card.

In the center, I stamped one of the three sentiments from Inside Greetings: Holiday Magic. I thought it needed just a bit more embellishing, so I pulled out the Tag Creations: Modern Gift Die Collection again and die-cut a few flowers and leaves.

I kept the flowers white because I really wanted my background to POP and be the main focus of my project.

I tucked the leaves underneath the flowers and added a colorful sequin to each one to complete it!

The new On the Border: Splendid Snowflake Frame and Border Dies are so beautiful. I used the frame die to create my background for my second card. I could have easily popped out all of the negative areas, but chose to keep them in to make more of an embossed look.

On top of that I added a die-cut tree from Peaceful Forest. But before attaching the tree I added another snowflake from the Splendid Snowflakes Die Collection.

I added a star and red sequins to the top of the tree and finished it off with the 'Peace on Earth' sentiment below!

That completes this countdown for me. I hope you've enjoyed my projects as much as I've enjoyed creating them. I can't wait to see what you create with this new release!!

Melissa

Ink to Paper Release Countdown - Day 3

Good morning, friends and welcome to Day 3 of the Ink to Paper Release Countdown. There have been so many beautiful new products peeked so far, don't you think? Well, today we have two more sets today that are geared towards Christmas … Holly Jolly Holiday and Cheerful Tree!

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Cheerful Tree is up first and it certainly is cheerful! I started with my white card base and added two die-cut snowflakes from the Splendid Snowflakes Die Collection. I then stamped and die-cut the tree and adhered it to the front.

There are so many bits and pieces included in the set to embellish and decorate your tree. I kept mine very simple by just adding a star, a few dots and a gift box!

A strip of Summer Sunrise along the bottom and a sentiment complete my first card!

Holly Jolly Holiday is up next ... a sweet and simple holiday set that allows you to create colorful sentiments for your Christmas cards! 'Joy to the World' was stamped in black onto a Geometrix: Oval Die. Joy and World are outlined letters, and with the separate alphabet that is included in the set I was able to stamp each letter individually, in different colors.

I attached the oval sentiment to the front of my card base. The Hawaiian Shores cardstock was stamped with the Loosely Woven Background Stamp. I embellished with the flowers from the new Tag Creations: Modern Gift Die Collection. The berries inside the flowers and leaves are from Holly Jolly Holiday.

That wraps up Day 3 for me, friends! One more day to go. See you all tomorrow!

Ink to Paper Release Countdown - Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of the Ink to Paper Release Countdown. Up for today … Deco Notes, Seasons of Joy and Splendid Snowflakes!

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Who is a big fan of clean and simple cards, like me? Well if you are then Deco Notes is going to be a must have set for you. I love, love, love large sentiments and this set is filled with them!

I kept my card one layer and started by stamping one of the sentiments in three different colors … Sweet Blush, Limeade Ice and Raspberry Fizz. Underneath the 'CHEERS' I stamped one of the sentiments from the set, Just Sentiments: Birthday.

To finish it off I stamped one of the decorative images in each corner. Easy peasy and sooo quick! This would be a great set for mass producing your cards!

Up next is a mix of Seasons of Joy and Splendid Snowflakes! Both such beautiful sets all by themselves, but they work so well together, too.

I started by creating the 'JOY' in the center of my card. I die-cut the J and Y, using the Seasons of Joy Die Collection and then in replace of the O I die-cut a snowflake from Splendid Snowflakes!

Along the top of my card I stamped 'Wishing you sweet' inside a Banner Builders: Basics Die. Along the bottom I stamped the rest of the sentiment … both of these are from Seasons of Joy. To complete my final card, I added strips of Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush and New Leaf along the bottom and added white Nuvo drops to my snowflake!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow for Day 3!

Ink to Paper Release Countdown - Day 1

Good morning and welcome to Day 1 of the September Ink to Paper Release Countdown. We have a mix of beautiful new products for you this month, including sets to get a jump start on all of your Christmas projects. Included today are … Simply Sweet: Blessed, Just Sentiments: Be Merry and Tag Creations: Modern Gift.

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is Simply Sweet: Blessed. This set is filled with all the pieces you need for building a sweet sunflower, as well as a variety of sentiments that focus on the blessings in our lives!

I started by stamping the flower stems along the left side of my card base. I then stamped and die-cut three sunflowers in Berry Sorbet, Pale Peony and Hibiscus. I attached those and also added a few die-cut leaves.

This set includes a few different 'blessed' sentiment images, in different fonts, but for this card I chose to use a previously released die collection that included the word 'blessed'. This one is from To Die For Sentiments: Sweet Blessings! I die-cut that out of Aqua Mist, attached it vertically and added the rest of my sentiment just underneath. To complete my first card I added a strip of Bitty Big: Pale Peony paper along the bottom.

I went with a more seasonal Autumn design for my next card. I started by stamping the sunflowers directly on my card base, around the outer edge. I then stamped and die-cut more sunflowers and filled in some of the spaces around the border by popping those up with dimensional foam. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving is one of the many sentiment included.

To complete my second project I decided to include a few place cards that will be perfect for any Thanksgiving table!

Up last for today is Tag Creations: Modern Gift … an adorable die collection that includes all the pieces you need for creating sweet packaging for gift giving! The sentiments are from Just Sentiments: Be Merry!

I chose one of my favorite Christmas color combinations ... Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist and Green Parakeet! I created a card, as well as a gift card holder to match!

That wraps up day one for me. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Transformation Tuesday - Love & Kindness

Hey there, friends! It's time for another Transformation Tuesday with Ink to Paper. I always love transforming a previous card into something new. and for today I chose a card that I created from the most recent release. I kept my layout very similar, but really wanted my sentiment to stand out on this card and tried something a little different!

Here is my original card created with It's A Sign: Love & Kindness! You can find my post HERE!

And here is my transformed card below ...

I used the Bitty Big: Smokey Shadow paper again, but this time added a strip of it across the center of my card front. The sentiment was stamped three times in the following colors … Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet and Hibiscus. I then die-cut using the coordinating It's A Sign: Love & Kindness Die Collection, cut them each into 1-inch strips and then reassembled them.

Because I wanted my sentiment to really stand out, I chose to keep my flowers simple black and white! After attaching those, I tucked die-cut leaves underneath to complete my card!

I really loved my original card, but I think my transformed card has won me over! What do you think?

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!!
