Design Team Tips - Uplifting Card Set

Happy Friday, crafty friends! It's time for a Design Team Tip with Papertrey Ink. Today, I'm sharing a tip on creating one of my favorite things ... flat, uplifting note cards. Most of the time we create folded A2 cards, but sometimes I like to create postcard style cards, where you don't need anything written on the inside, because the front says exactly what you need it to. You could place these anywhere you feel they could bring a smile to someone!

The Words to Live By series was perfect for creating this set. Here are the links to each one I used....

For the base of my note card I used the Scallop Stackers: Medium Die. I die-cut six different colors … Hawaiian Shores, Berry Sorbet, Hibiscus, Green Parakeet, Melon Berry and Bright Buttercup.

I then die-cut six white rectangles using the Nesting Basics: Rectangles Dies. On those I stamped my sentiments, mixing up the colors between each of the cards.

I just love the Together Forever Blooms Stamp Set and thought one of the flowers in that would be the perfect accent around my sentiment.

After each of my panels were stamped, I attached them to the colorful scallop rectangles and added sequins around the bottom of each one.

And here is a peek of them all together. So happy and cheerful!

Thanks so much for visiting. Have a happy Friday!

xo,
Melissa
