Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 5

Happy Sunday to you, friends! We have reached the final day of the October Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. It's been so fun creating with all of the new products and sharing them all with you. For my final day, I have the pleasure of featuring the new Twinkling Trees! This set speaks right to my creative heart and is just my style!

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

How about we start the day off with a bright and cheerful holiday card. I started with a white card panel that I stamped with one of the star images in the set. I stamped it in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next, using the small coordinating tree die, I die-cut five trees out of that embossed white card panel.

I set that panel aside and then attached colorful strips of cardstock to the front of a white card base. I love doing this. If you're like me, you end up with so many leftover strips of cardstock ... this is the perfect way to use them up and not let them go to waste. I then attached the embossed white card panel over the top, so you can see the colorful striped trees popping through.

I chose one of the many sentiments included in the set, stamped that in white onto black cardstock, and then popped it up with dimensional foam. I also added tiny die-cut stars to each tree to complete it.

Up next is another card created with the small tree, this time I stamped each of them with two of the patterned backgrounds. I attached them across the center of my card front, some directly to the card and a couple with dimensional foam.

Wishing you was added to top of my card, again with dimensional foam ...

and JOY THIS SEASON (from Sentiment Staples: Christmas) was added to the bottom portion, along with a few sequins.

My final card, and my most favorite, was created with the large tree in the set. I die-cut it out of white and then filled in all of the negative star space with colorful stars. Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Hawaiian Shores and Aqua Mist were the colors I used. I added the tree to the front of a Noted: Pinked A2 Vertical die. Along the top of that I had die-cut 2018 using the new Stitched Years and stitched it with black floss.

I used Sentiment Staples: Season's Greetings and mixed it with two of the sentiments from Twinkling Trees.

And to give it a little more sparkle and shine, I added a few clear sequins.

Well friends, that wraps up the PTI Release Countdown for me this month. I hope you enjoyed my projects as much as I enjoyed creating them. As always, thank YOU so much for visiting and for always being so kind with your comments! You are the best!

Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 4

Hey there, friends! I'm back to share a little more inspiration with you using this month's new Papertrey Ink products. Today we have a beautiful new Christmas floral set, a gorgeous Christmas window scene set, and a new Say It Simply die! Are you ready to jump in?

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!!*

Let's start with the Blooming Amaryllis set and Say It Simply: Merry & Bright die. I loved mixing these together to create a beautiful, but clean and simple card!

I started by stamping the floral image on the front of a white card base. I layered the flower by first stamping Sweet Blush, then Berry Sorbet and last was Pure Poppy. After that was stamped I moved onto my sentiment. I die-cut it out of True Black and then cut the bottom to separate the 'merry and bright'.

Along the bottom of my card I attached a strip of Bitty Big: Smokey Shadow striped paper. I added a few light pink sequins to finish card #1.

Winter Window is up next and is a truly stunning set! It features a variety of images to dress up your own winter window. So fun! I started with a Hibiscus card base and stamped the snow background along the top. I then die-cut the window … a white background and Aqua Mist window panels. Before attaching the window panel I stamped the sweet deer on the white background. I attached both to my card and then moved onto to die-cutting the rest of my pieces.

I added a sentiment and red Nuvo drops to my tree and that's it!

Have you started making your wish list yet? We have only one more day of product introductions and then the next will be release day! YAY!

Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 3

Hello! Hello! Hello, friends! Are you ready for Day 3 of this month's Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Are the new products not amazing this month? I'm am so loving creating with all of these wonderful new goodies. For today, I have two cards to share with you using the following  … Glorious Globes: October, Words to Live By: Peace, Warmer Together and Bold Borders: Flurries!

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first for me is Glorious Globes: October and Words to Live By: Peace. I started with a white card panel, cut slightly smaller than my Aqua Mist card base. Across the middle of that I stamped the peace image in the following colors … Simply Chartreuse, Orange Zest, Pale Peony and Aqua Mist.

I die-cut 'peace' (from Words to Live By: Peace) in True Black, attached that and then stamped the rest of my sentiment onto a strip of white. I also stamped and die-cut the sweet little bird from Glorious Globes: October and attached that with dimensional foam. A few colorful sequins complete this first card.

Warmer Together and Bold Borders: Flurries are the featured products used on my next card. I started with a Hawaiian Shores card base. Along the bottom, I added just one side of the new Bold Borders: Flurries dies. To give it a little color, I added a pop of Hibiscus inside some of the snowflakes. Along the top I added a die-cut 'JOY', also from the Bold Borders: Flurries. 'Winter' is one of the sentiments from Warm Together.

And now for those adorable penguins. After stamping and die-cutting them, they were popped up with dimensional foam. To finish this card I added a few hearts, from Warmer Together, and a few clear sequins!

That wraps up Day 3 for me! For more details on these new products you can visit HERE!

Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown, friends. Warm & Fuzzy, Shape Shifters: Square 3 Dies, Corner Adorner: October and Sentiment Staples: Season's Greetings are the beautiful new products that are being introduced today. Let's not waste any time and jump right to my projects for today.

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

For my first card we have the new Corner Adorner: October set with a sentiment from Sentiment Staples: Season's Greetings. I started by covering my card base with a piece of Harvest Gold Bitty Big patterned paper. Next, using the Pierced Features Frames: Oval dies, I created a base for my sentiment and images to sit on.

The new Corner Adorner: October is such a lovely set. I love all of the different pieces that allow you to create a beautiful holiday spray! I die-cut duplicates and attached them to both sides of my sentiment. To finish it off, I added a few clear sequins.

Card #2 features the Warm & Fuzzy set, along with the new Shape Shifters: Square 3 Dies
I started by die-cutting the square die out of Spring Moss cardstock. I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the green square, but before attaching it I stamped one of the snowflake images (from Warm & Fuzzy) along the outside edge in Aqua Mist ink. I then stamped the sentiment along the bottom and attached it to the green square.

Next came the mittens. The solid mitten image was stamped in Hibiscus ink and the stripes in Pure Poppy. I also created a border along the bottom by stamping the striped mitten image along a strip of Hibiscus cardstock. A few red and clear sequins complete this card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I sure do appreciate it! :)

Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 1

Hi there, friends! It's time to kick off the October Papertrey Ink Release Countdown and let me just say that the designers did such an amazing job creating the new products for this month. I'm always excited to see what each month brings, and this month is definitely not a disappointment. So prepare yourself for lots of Papertrey goodness and inspiration.

My card today features Sending Joy and the Folded Pocket Tag Die!

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

I love sweet and simple stamp sets and the new Sending Joy set is just that. I know without a doubt that it's going to be getting a lot of love from me! There is a plaid background strip included in the set and that is the first thing I reached for when I started to create my card. I used Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet and Spring Moss and stamped the strip in each of those colors, cut them and then attached them to a white card base to create my background.

I used the new Folded Pocket Tag Die as the base for my sentiment and images. After stamping and die-cutting them all, I simply attached them to the tag. The whole tag was then attached to my card front with dimensional foam.

To complete my card, I added red Nuvo Drops to create my berries!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #26 - Layers

Hey there, friends! Who's ready for a new Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge!? This month we are focusing on 'Layers'. There are so many different ways to create a layered card, we can't wait to see what your take will be on it. I chose to keep my card still pretty simple, both the layout and the layering.

I started with a white card base and added a strip of black and white patterned paper along the bottom. I die-cut the 'hello' from the Orange You Sweet die collection and attached that above the striped paper. The 'L VE" and heart are from the Love You So Bundle. Those were added underneath the hello with dimensional foam. I added a flower, from So Happy For You, and leave from the Just Because die collection. And to finish it off, I added 'hugs & kisses', again from Love You So.

Thanks for visiting with me today. I'm excited to see all of the layered cards that you create for this challenge ... I hope you'll join us! You have until October 29th to link your projects and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th.

Have fun and happy creating!
