Papertrey Ink April Relase - Day 1 - Text & Texture: Agate + Geode Layers

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to Day 1 of this months Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Today I am showcasing two new products ... the Text & Texture: Agate stamp set and the Geode Layers die collection. These two new products are so unique and will give you so many options when creating with them. As you visit the rest of the design team you will see just what I mean.

**All of the new products will be available April 15th at 10pm EST!**

To begin, I stamped a strip of Hawaiian Shores card-stock with the background image in the new Text & Texture: Agate set. I attached that to the front of my white card base and set that aside to start working on my sentiment.

Using the new Geode Layers dies I die-cut my 'rock' for my sentiment to sit on. This die collection has many different pieces that can be layered together or used all alone. I chose to just use one of them on my project for today. The one I used has a center piece and an outline piece. I die-cut it twice, once in white and once in the new gray that was introduced last month.

After stamping my sentiment in the center of the 'rock', I attached it to the center of my card. I wanted to dress it up a bit and make it more feminine, so I stamped and die-cut flowers and butterflies from Bunny Blessings. Those were then attached around my sentiment, some directly to my card and some with a bit of dimensional foam. To complete my card, I added a few clear sequins to give it a little sparkle

You won't want to miss what the rest of the team has created using these two amazing new products. Be sure to pop in and visit each of them and the Papertrey Ink blog for more inspiration ...

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I'll see you tomorrow with more new projects. Have a wonderful day!
