Jolly Holiday - Day 5

Welcome to the final day of this months Papertrey Ink release countdown. So many wonderful new products being released this month and I'm sure you all can't wait until you are able to hit those 'add to cart' buttons. To finish my countdown, using the Jolly Holiday set, I have two more cards to share. Before I share those, let me recap all of the details on the set...

Colors for today...Tropical Teal, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy.

I used the striped wreath, tiny star and bow for card #1.  I added a rhinestone to the center of the bow to give it a bit of bling and then layered all my pieces and attached it to my card front. 

Ending my projects for this release countdown with those chevron trees you all love so much. Again, I blinged it up by adding the rhinestones down the middle of each tree. I added my stars and sentiment to complete it.

Jolly Holiday - Day 4

 

Hello, hello, hello! Welcome everyone and happy Monday to you! We are on day 4 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown...only one more day to go. I truly appreciate all of your comments over the past few days and am so happy to hear how much you are enjoying these countdown projects using the new Jolly Holiday set. I have a few bright and cheery cards for you today, both holiday and birthday!

**All of the new products will be available starting October 15th at 10pm EST on the Papertrey Ink website.**

 I'm going to start off today with the gift box Jolly Holiday dies. You can see above how cute they are when they are all assembled. There are 3 separate dies...the box, the bow and then the box lid and ribbon that are the same die.

 And here is my card with all of my gifts across my card front.  I used a sentiment from Note Niblets to create a birthday card, showing you that this set can be used for more than just holiday cards. ;)

And here is another birthday card using the stars. I used the middle star die, from the Seeing Stars die collection, and die cut four of them out of Orange Zest, Hibiscus, Aqua Mist and Simply Chartreuse card-stock. Using the striped star in the Jolly Holiday set, I stamped the center of each of the die cut stars. Those were attached to my card front and then my sentiment was stamped with the Wet Paint stamp set.

And we'll end today with a Christmas card featuring lots of colorful die cut trees and a cheery holiday sentiment. I mixed the sentiment from Jolly Holiday 'tis the season to be jolly' but replaced the jolly with the 'JOLLY' from Note Niblets.

Jolly Holiday - Day 3

Welcome back for day 3 of the countdown. Are you ready for another set of note-cards using the new Jolly Holiday set?  I can't seem to stop creating these and when the holidays do come around they would be super easy for mass producing.

I mixed the sentiment from one of my previous sets, Note Niblets, with the images in the new Jolly Holiday set. Tropical Teal, Simply Chartreuse and Pure Poppy...love these colors together for holiday cards.

I used the wreath from Jolly Holiday and mixed it with the dotted flower circles and leaves from Note Niblets for the card on the right.

Short and sweet again from me again today but there is still more to see from these ladies....

Jolly Holiday - Day 2

Happy Saturday, friends! I apologize for these posting delays. I have them scheduled to post but for some reason they are not. I'll try to be more on top of that tomorrow morning.

I have a few more simple cards for you this morning using the new Jolly Holiday set. I'm so happy to hear you all love the look of those chevron images. They have been super fun to stamp and create with!

 Today, I have a cute little set of mini holiday cards for you. Each of them measures 3.5 x 3.5. Let's begin...

On this first card, I used the row of stars to create my background. I had frame left over from yesterday and used it for my sentiment to sit in. Keeping it somewhat simple, I added a die cut tree and star. 

Next up are those chevron trees. There are two sizes in the set and I used both on this card. After die cutting them, I stamped the images inside and attached them to my card front. My sentiment was stamped and voila...easy peasy!

Have a jolly holiday! A simple wreath is the focal point for this one. 

And lastly, the gift box. After die cutting and stamping the box, I added a strip of glitter down the middle and then a die cut bow to finish it.

Introducing Jolly Holiday

Hello everyone! It's been quite some time since I last posted. I have been looking forward to being back and sharing a new stamp set with you. Coming to you this month is Jolly Holiday!

Lots of simple, modern images in this set. I created four sets of cards and tags for day 1.

#1 features the wreath image in the set. These images are so easy and fast to stamp with...I just love that. After stamping my wreath on both the card and tag I went back and stamped my bow. There are quite a few different star images in this set. I created the smaller stars to fit perfectly in the center of the larger ones, like you see above. 'Have a jolly holiday!' is one of the three sentiments included.

**For the bases of all of my cards and tags for today I stamped the Background Basics: Christmas Joy background.**

Set #2 features the striped chevron trees. After stamping them across my card-stock, I simply stamped my sentiment to finish it. 

More trees and stars for #3.

And lastly is the gift box in the set along with the third sentiment.
