Teepee Time Catch Up

Hello friends! Thanks for joining me over here on my new blog. I've decided to make the switch from Typepad to Blogger and hope that you will bookmark my new address. Unfortunately, I was unable to transfer all of my posts from Typepad so I'll be starting fresh over here. I will leave my Typepad blog up for a few weeks but there will be no more new blog posts. From now on I will posting on this one. Sometimes a fresh start is a wonderful thing! :)

I also wanted to thank you for being so understanding during my family emergency and for your thoughtful comments and e-mails. It's been a very rough few weeks and truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

I've been trying to squeeze in a bit of creative time during my family ordeal and was able to create a few more cards using my new set, Teepee Time.

Bright and cheerful colors are always my go-to colors! Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores, Summer Sunrise and Simply Chartreuse.

On this first card, I used the smaller teepee triangle in the set to create a border across the bottom for my sentiment to sit on. I die cut the two sides for my teepee, stamped each one and attached it to my white card stock. I added the x's along the middle and the teepee top to complete it.

I kept this second card just as simple as the first. I started by stamping the row of larger x's, using all of the colors I mentioned above, along the sides of my white card stock. Another die cut teepee was added to the center and lastly, my sentiment 'Give Thanks'.

For my last card I used those patterned chevron stripes that are so fun to create with! I also stamped the larger tree and filled the flowers in with Raspberry Fizz ink.

I hope you enjoyed these simple cards I created for today and hope that if you purchased Teepee Time that you are having fun inking it up! :)

Happy creating everyone! Til next time...
