Saturday Showcase - Hello Sunshine

Popping in this morning to share a card for this weeks Saturday Showcase with Ink to Paper. Beachy Keen is the star of the show...the perfect set to highlight as we are in the midst of sunny summer weather!

I started by creating a tropical colored background using the Bold Border: Polka Dots Die. I used the die as a stencil and colored the dots in with Distress Oxide inks.

I then attached a Geometrix: Oval die-cut as a base for my tree and sentiment. I stamped one of the sandy images in the set along the bottom and then stamped the sentiment just above. My tree and sun were die-cut using the coordinating Beachy Keen Die Collection.

A few clear sequins were added to complete it!

Saturday Showcase - Sending Love To

It's time for Saturday Showcase with Ink to Paper, friends. Today we are highlighting the beautiful newly released set, Pleasing Envelopes: Special Delivery! Did you happen to add this to your cart on release night? It is truly such a beautiful set. I love decorating my envelopes to match my cards, so I was very excited when I saw this set was being released.

I created a one layer card for today. I started by stamping the lines in four different colors … Bright Buttercup, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest and Hawaiian Shores. Around those lines I stamped a few of the flowers and leaves included in the set. Next, I stamped one of the scripty sentiments in black.

I stamped the same sentiment on my matching envelope and just underneath stamped the lines in Hawaiian Shores. Along the bottom I stamped more of those beautiful flowers and leaves!

Here's a close up of the two together. Such a happy and colorful combo, don't you think?! :)

Saturday Showcase - Watercolor Textures: Brush Strokes

Hi friends! It's time for another Saturday Showcase with Ink to Paper! Watercolor Textures: Brush Strokes is our featured set this week and a few of us on the team have created projects to share with you! Let's jump right into my card for today ...

To begin, I wanted to create a background for my images and sentiment to sit on. I stamped one of the brush strokes onto a white card base in the following colors … Sweet Blush, Hibiscus, Bright Buttercup and Orange Zest.  

I die-cut 'Smile' from the Frame It out: Wishes Die Collection and attached that in the center of my stamped background. Underneath, I added the rest of my sentiment from the Frame It Out: Wishes Stamp Set. That was stamped in Fresh Snow onto a strip of True Black cardstock and then popped up with dimensional foam. Next, I die-cut and stamped 3 of the floral images from Nature's Background Essentials. Those were also popped up with dimensional foam.

To complete my card I added a few leaves and colorful sequins!

Saturday Showcase - Many Anemones

Hi there, friends! Today, the Ink to Paper team is sharing a whole lot of eye candy with projects created with the new Many Anemones Stamp and Die Collection. This is such a gorgeous set and the possibilities when creating with both the stamps and dies are endless. The team has truly put together a variety of different examples and ways you can create cards with these beautiful images!

I chose a fresh color combo and layout for today. I started by stamping one of full outlined flowers directly onto my white card base. I stamped three along the left side and then filled the petals in using the solid images in the following colors … Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise and Melon Berry. I then stamped the leaves surrounding the flowers in Green Parakeet and the leave veins in True Black. Along the right side of my card, I stamped the Fully Woven Background in Pale Peony.

Next, using the Many Anemones Die Collection, I die-cut three more flowers and stamped them in the same colors as the first ones. I attached all three to the front of my card using dimensional foam.

I love the handwritten sentiments in this set … so, so beautiful! I stamped 'beautiful you' in True Black and then to complete my card I added a few clear sequins!

Saturday Showcase - Rustic Brick

Happy Saturday to you, friends! The Ink to Paper team is coming together today to showcase one of the new sets that was just released on the 15th … Rustic Brick Background Stamp Set. This is such a fantastic set and perfect for creating masculine cards, as well as more feminine cards, like my card I created below.

To begin, I cut a white card panel down to 3.75 x 5. On that panel, I stamped one of the Rustic Brick Backgrounds that I had inked up with the following colors … Hawaiian Shores, Hibiscus, Orange Zest and Summer Sunrise. I just love the variety of cheerful colors that were stamped with just that one image.

The large 'hello' was die-cut using the Frame It Out: Wishes. I stamped the rest of my sentiment, 'my dear friend', using the coordinating Frame It Out: Wishes Stamp Set. Those were both attached with dimensional foam.

The flowers and leaves are a mix of two new sets. The flowers are from the You Are My Happy Die Collection and the leaves from Tag Creations: Blooming Indulgence. I added those around my sentiment and then finished it off with a few colorful sequins inside my flowers!
