Ink to Paper - January Release Countdown - Day 3

Hi there, friends! I'm excited to be back and share more Ink to Paper goodness with you this morning. This new release is so fantastic and I have enjoyed creating with all of these new products. Up for today ... Sweet Celebrations, On the Border: Sunburst Frame Die and Just Sentiments: Belated Birthday!

Let's start with the new Sweet Celebrations! I just love this die collection. It's filled with blooms and leaves and the sweetest cupcake image! And the sentiments in the coordinating stamp set fit perfectly inside the frame die.

 

Let's talk about my card base. I used the On the Border: Embossed Skinny Frame to create my background. I just die-cut it once, out of Stampers Select White cardstock, and then cut it up to create the multiple frames. Inside two of those frames I adhered strips of Raspberry Fizz, Melon Berry and Aqua Mist.

And then I simply embellished with the flowers, leaves and sentiment from Sweet Celebrations!

This new On the Border: Sunburst Frame is absolutely one of my favorites from this release. It makes such a fun and colorful background!!

Lemon Tart, Sweet Blush, Orange Zest and Raspberry Fizz were the colors I used to create the rays. 

The sentiment, from Just Sentiments: Belated Birthday, was stamped in the center and flowers, from It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments were added just above!

Welcome back for Day 2 of the January Ink to Paper Release Countdown. Up for today … 

It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments, Border Bling: Embossed Skinny Frame Die, Sprinkles Galore and It's A Sign: Happy Birthday Die!

It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments is up first! I didn't use them today, but the sentiments in this set fit perfectly inside all of the frames from the It's A Sign Series! Just a little something to keep in mind if you decide to purchase the set. It will give you a lot of options when creating with it!

There are a variety of different size flowers and leaves included, perfect for embellishing around the sentiments, like I did for today. Melon Berry, Raspberry Fizz and Harvest Gold is the color combination I chose ... a more muted color palette than my normal rainbow colors.

The background is Bitty Big: Harvest Gold. I die-cut the new Border Bling: Embossed Skinny Frame out of True Black and added my sentiment and cheery die-cut flowers. 

Up next is Sprinkles Galore and It's A Sign: Happy Birthday. I used more of a rainblow color palette on this card to make those sprinkles bright and cheery. I simply covered the entire card base by repeatedly stamping one of the sprinkle background images. I love it because you really can't mess up your background. You could stamp in all one color or a variety of colors, like I did.

For my sentiment I used the It's A Sign: Happy Birthday Die and used the inlaid technique to place it inside the Geometrix: Oval Die. I embellished around my sentiment by die-cutting balloons and hearts from Balloon Wishes!

Ink to Paper - January Release Countdown - Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the January Ink to Paper Release Countdown, friends! This month we will be sharing so many wonderful new products with you and included in the line up are stamp sets + dies geared towards birthdays! Up for today … Balloon Wishes, Border Bling: Dotted Skinny Frame, Inside Greetings: Birthday Wishes and On the Border: Sunburst Border Die!

Balloon Wishes is up first! I had so much fun designing this set and was so excited when I received it in the mail. I'm a color lover and couldn't wait to stamp those watercolor striped balloons! There are two shaped balloons in the set and I chose the heart to create with for today.

 Orange Zest, Bright Buttercup, Hibiscus, Hawaiian Shores and Pure Poppy are the colors I used to stamp the stripes. I also created a colorful background for the sentiment 'COLORFUL', by stamping those same colors on a strip of white cardstock.

 Along the outside, I added a Hawaiian Shores border by die-cutting the new Border Bling: Dotted Skinny Frame! I added a few extra plain white hearts and a few sequins to complete my first card.

  On the Border: Sunburst Border Die is such a fun little die to create with! I created a sunbeam for the corner of my card by die-cutting it three times out of Hawaiian Shores, Berry Sorbet and Pale Peony. I layered those over one another and simple adhered it in the corner.

The sentiment is a mix of the new Inside Greetings: Birthday Wishes and 'Wish' is from an older set, Frame It Out: Wishes. To finish card #2 I added die-cut hearts, from Balloon Wishes, and a few clear sequins!

Ink to Paper - The Gift of Packaging - Tags on Cards

Happy Friday, friends! It's been a week filled with holiday inspiration at Ink to Paper and today it continues. We've seen felt packaging, gift cards, gift tags and treat packaging so far, and to end the week I'll be sharing a set of cards featuring gift tags!

Tags are so fun to create, because there are so many different ways you could decorate them. And I find them easy for mass producing, which words great during the busy holiday season.

For my set of cards today, I started by first choosing the colors I wanted to use...Pure Poppy, Tropical Teal and Raspberry Fizz for my card bases and Pure Poppy, Tropical Teal, Raspberry Fizz, Melon Berry, Aqua Mist and Green Parakeet for my stamped images. 

The tags themselves were die-cut from the Tag Creations: Blooming Indulgence and the floral images and sentiments are from Framing Florals: Christmas.

For the base of each of my cards, I die-cut colorful cardstock using the new Border Bling: Lots of Dots. It's makes the perfect background for my colorful and festive tags!

A closer peek at those pretty florals. One of the great things about using tags as a focal image on your cards is that you could easily create a matching tag to add to a bag, box or basket and give it as a gift!

Ink to Paper - December Release Countdown - Day 4

Welcome to the last day of this month's Ink to Paper countdown, friends! Everything you've been seeing over the past 4 days will be available tomorrow, December 15th, at 10pm EST. Up last we have a beautiful floral set called A Little Wispy and a fun cake building set called Cake Creations. We'll also be sharing a new Border Bling die!

A Little Wispy is up first for me. This is such a gorgeous set! The vases and stems alone make this set stunning, but then you throw in that scripty font and WOW! 

I die-cut all the stems and stamped them in Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse, Tropical Teal, Limeade Ice, Lilac Grace, Berry Sorbet and Hibiscus. Those were all tucked in an Aqua Mist vase.

Like I mentioned before, that scripty font!! I die-cut and stamped that and just placed it over the center of the vase. The Berry Sorbet background was created with Border Bling: Tin Stitch. 

Up next is a fun birthday card featuring the images from the new Cake Creations and the Border Bling: Lots of Dots die.

First, I die-cut the Border Bling: Lots of Dots die and used it as a stencil to create my Raspberry Fizz polka dot background.

I then die-cut all the pieces for the cake and stamped them in Harvest Gold, Pale Peony and Orange Zest. In this set there are sentiments, numbers, flowers, candles … everything you need to dress your cake up. So fun!
