Note Niblets - Day 3

I'm so happy to hear your excitement over Note Niblets. Thank you all! We still have a few more days before this new set will be available and hopefully I can inspire you just a bit more until then.

So for today I thought we'd start with a few little note cards...all using that little envelope and it's cute little accents.

I used the same colors on all four cards... just mixed them up a bit. Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet, Aqua Mist and Tropical Teal.

 

I used the dotted blossoms and stem trio on this next card. I also used one of the border images in the set along the right side of my card. My sentiment was framed with the Tag Sale #10 die.

Here is another card using the stem trio..this time I stamped it twice. I used the striped border as a base for my flowers to sit on and then die cut all of my flowers, stamped them and adhered them to the tops of my stems. 

And that completes day three for me. Only two more days to go. These ladies have been sharing their projects using their new sets and have more to share today...be sure to stop by and say hello...

Note Niblets - Day 2

Hello again, everyone and happy Friday to you! Are you ready for day 2 of the Note Niblets projects? Let's not waste any time today and get right to the cards I have for you.

 

This first card is a total color love card! Remember yesterday how I used the dotted border? There are four different borders in the set and I created a die to coordinate with them all. That is what you see above on card #1. I die cut a bunch of those borders out of a variety of different colors and attached them down the side of my card. 

 

 Here's a bit of a closer shot. I die cut the flowers out of Raspberry Fizz felt using the Beautiful Blooms ll #1 die collection.  The leaves you see are a couple of the leaves in the set. I die cut those using the coordinating Note Niblets leave dies and tucked them underneath my flower. And just underneath my flower is another one of my favorite sentiments...YOU Rock!

 

 I mixed Note Niblets with the 'hello' from the Quick Stitch Sentiments die collection for card #2. The flowers, leaves and stamped border are all from the new set, as well as the sentiment, 'from me to you'.

 I never seem to use punches anymore but I thought the little Martha Stewart butterfly was a perfect accent to my card. I punched three of them out of vellum and then simply wrapped pink embroidery floss around them and attached them just above my sentiment.

Here on this last card you can see the banners in the set...or actually one of the banners. There are 3 different ones for you to choose from. I used them with the coordinating die for this card.

Another sentiment and more of those dotted borders complete this one!

Introducing Note Niblets

Welcome to the first day of the July Papertrey Ink countdown. I'm so excited to be back and have been looking forward to sharing my projects with you using my new set, Note Niblets. It is truly a sweet set that is filled with 40 different images and will cover a wide array of occasions. I'm all about simple, coordinating and sweet and this set delivers all of that! :)

Let's jump right into my projects for today...

 

For card #1 I used the stem trio and mixed it with the dotted blossoms in the set. There are 3 different sizes which will give you lots of versatility when creating with them. Underneath my flowers, I stamped one of the bold striped words included in the set, 'NOTE', and just above stamped a separate sentiment, 'JUST A LITTLE'.

To finish this, I layered the flowers over a piece of Raspberry Fizz card stock and then added a die cut Orange Zest banner (included in this new set) along the side. 

Next up is the cute little envelope that you saw Nichole give a sneak peek of yesterday. I stamped the envelope in Smokey Shadow and then filled it in with the lines, flower and leaves...all separate images. Just underneath it, I stamped the sentiment 'JUST A LITTLE NOTE' again but this time added 'to say hello' just below it.

I used one of the borders in the set to create a colorful dotted border along the top and bottom of my white card stock. Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Fizz and Sweet Blush were the colors I used. To complete this card I added a scalloped Raspberry Fizz border along the side using the Be Happy die collection.

This birthday card was so simple to create and I just love the pops of color.  I used the dotted flowers again and just did some random stamping.

 I stamped my birthday greeting and then layered it over a piece of Raspberry Fizz.  

 'YOU are my happy' is probably one of my favorite sentiments in this set. :) After stamping my sentiment in the center of the white, I stamped the single flower stem along both sides. I could have easily made my white card stock a bit taller and stamped my flowers directly on the white but chose to die cut them instead. 

A strip of Raspberry Fizz was added along the bottom for a final touch. 

 Lastly, for today is this colorful 'CHEER up, buttercup!' card. I stamped lots of bright flowers along the bottom of my card and then worked my way to the top.

After stamping my sentiment I added a die cut butterfly, from the Heart-2-Heart #10 die collection. I also added a die cut flower and leaves, from Note Niblets, to the center of my butterfly.

That completes day 1 for me. I sure hope you have enjoyed what I've shared with you. I'll have more projects for you over the next four days using this new set and look forward to hearing what you think of Note Niblets!

Stamp Designer Showcase: Apple Prints

Hello there! Happy Sunday to you all. It's the 1st of the month which means it's time for the Stamp Designer Showcase. With the school year coming to an end (for some of you it already has) and a lot of us thinking about gifts and thank you cards for our children's teachers, I thought Apple Prints would be the perfect set to revisit this month.

Hawaiian Shores, Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry and Simply Chartreuse are the colors I chose to work with for today. Card #1 was stamped using a few different apples in the set. I simply stamped them onto white card stock, adhered it to my Hawaiian Shores card base and then added my sentiment. 'Thank you' is from Think Big Favorites #4. I used the First Place stamp and die collection for the banners underneath my button.

Card #2 is a sweet card for a special teacher. Lots of white on this one! The apple was die cut using the Apple Prints die collection and then impressed using the Polka Dot Basics ll Impression plate. Along the top and bottom I die cut two scalloped borders using the die from the Be Happy die collection. For the final touch, I added the flower and apple stem that were die cut out of Melon Berry and Simply Chartreuse felt.

And lastly for today is my favorite of the three...a card using a variety of those apple images and dies in the set. They were all simply die cut, stamped and attached to my card front using dimensional adhesive.
