Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - Grateful For You

Good morning and happy Friday to you, crafty friends! The Where Creativity Meets C9 team is back for one more Concord & 9th Feature Friday and today we are featuring the beautiful Grateful For Everything Bundle. I love the large floral spray in this set and how you don't need a whole lot of  'extras' to make a simple, beautiful card.

On a white card base, I stamped the floral spray along the left side of my card front. Next, I colored it in using the Copics you see listed below. Once that was done, I set it aside and moved onto my sentiment.

That was stamped in white onto a piece of black cardstock. I popped that up with dimensional foam and attached it to the front of my card. To complete it, I added white Nuvo drops to the centers of the two flowers and a few clear sequins.

I have truly enjoyed creating with all of Concord & 9th's new products this month and am sad to see our Feature Friday posts come to an end. You can see all of the cards my teammates created for you today by visiting the Concord & 9th blog!

Have a great day!

Spellbinders August Card Kit of the Month - Take Two

Hey there, friends! I wanted to pop in quickly and share three more cards I created with the Spellbinders August Card Kit of the Month. There is still time to sign up and grab one for yourself. It's a fantastic kit, you won't be disappointed!

I really love the variety of patterned paper that's included. I used this pink chevron as the background for this card and then embellished with florals and a couple of the positive sentiments!

This next card features two of the floral dies in the kit. I simple die-cut a bunch, adhered them to my card front and then popped up one of the sentiments with dimensional foam.

My final card features the yellow striped frame. I added a piece of light pink cardstock behind and then embellished with two of the die-cut flowers and leaves! Along the bottom I added strip of one of the patterned papers and then finished it off with a sentiment!

Here is the kit in full, in case you haven't yet seen it! For the complete details and to learn how you can purchase this kit for yourself, you can visit THIS PAGE!

Short and sweet for today. Thanks for popping in for a visit!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - Thankful Leaves

Happy Friday, friends! The Where Creativity Meets C9 team is back for another Concord & 9th Feature Friday. Today we are showcasing the beautiful Thankful Leaves Bundle. I created a set of five cards for you today. All featuring the same design, I just mixed up the colors and sentiments!

One of my favorite things to do is to fill in the negatives spaces of a die and make it super colorful. That's just what I did with the Thankful Leaves Die. I chose a fall-ish color scheme and just went to town die-cutting the leaves. After mixing up the colors and filling in all of the negatives spaces, I attached them to the card fronts that I had previously stamped with the sentiments.

The sentiments are a mix of both Thankful Leaves and Shiplap Sentiments. I just love how these turned out. So worth the time that it took to fill them all in. :)

My lovely teammates have lots to share with you today using this beautiful bundle. Pop on over to the Concord & 9th blog to what they created for you!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by to say hello!

Spellbinders August Card Kit of the Month

Hello, friends! I'm popping in this morning to share a few cards with you using the new Spellbinders August Card Kit of the Month. Have you signed up for this kit? It is pretty amazing … jam packed with everything you need to make 10+ cards! I'm sharing three with you today, but will be sharing more very soon. All of the products I used on these cards are from the kit. I didn't use any other stamps, dies, inks, cardstock, patterned paper or embellishments!

Up first, I created this card using two of the floral dies in the set. As you know, I LOVE flowers so I was all heart eyes when I first saw this kit. I love how you can layer them over one another to give your card more detail and dimension. There are also a variety of die-cut leaves included, as well as a sheet of sentiment stickers that are perfect for so many different occasions.

This second card could not have been any simpler to make. I started by adhering a piece of green and gold embossed patterned paper to the front of my card base. I added the sun and rainbow die-cuts to the center and added a sentiment. Easy peasy!

My last card for today features another floral die included in the kit, but first I used the glitter heart stickers to create another flower/border around my die-cut flower. I added a leave and sentiment to complete this super sweet and simple card!

Like I said, this isn't the last you'll be seeing of this kit! If you haven't checked it out to see what is included you can find all of the info you need RIGHT HERE

Thanks for stopping by today. Wishing you a happy day ahead!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - I Wish I Could Hug You

Hey there, crafty friends! It's Feature Friday at Concord & 9th and this week the Where Creativity Meets C9 team is showcasing the beautiful new floral set, So Happy For You and the coordinating Floral Hoop Dies. I love floral sets and Concord & 9th never disappoints when is comes to designing them!

These are also available in a DISCOUNTED BUNDLE!

I started by stamping my favorite sentiment in the set directly in the center of a white card base. I also attached two strips of colorful cardstock along the top and bottom of my card. Next, I stamped and did lots of die-cutting. After I had all of my flowers and leaves ready, I started assembling them around my sentiment until I was happy with how they looked. They were all attached with dimensional foam.

There is a lot more to see of this beautiful set from my WCMC9 teammates. Be sure to visit the Concord & 9th blog so you don't miss anything! :)

Enjoy your Friday, friends and thanks for popping in to visit with me!

Papertrey Ink - August Release Countdown - Day 5

Hello, friends! It's the final day of the August Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. YAY! I'm so happy that you stopped in for a visit. My final card for this release features the new Forest Floor: Autumn Stamp Set and Die Collection.

**All products will be available August 15th at 10pm EST!**

There's nothing quite like a crisp white background stamped with lots of colorful images! :) For my final card I stamped one of the leave images in Pure Poppy, Vintage Jadeite, Pale Peony and Bright Buttercup. I then went over each one with the vein image (is that what it's called?) in black ink.

I used the frame in the die collection to die-cut the base for my sentiment. To give it a little dimension I added dimensional foam underneath before adhering it to the front of my card. And lastly, sequins were added to give it a little sparkle!

Thank you so much for visiting with me over these past five days and for all of your kind comments. I truly appreciate it. And now for more inspiration using this new set, as well as a few other new products, be sure to visit the Papertrey Ink Blog!

Have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink - August Release Countdown - Day 4

Welcome back for Day 4 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown, friends. Today we are featuring the following new products … Sentiment Staples: Thanksgiving, Frame It Out: Many Blessings, Say It Simply: Giving Thanks Die and Simply Gourd-eous!

*All new products will be available August 15th at 10pm EST!**

My first card features the Frame It Out: Many Blessings and Sentiment Staples: Thanksgiving. I started by trimming down a piece of white cardstock, slightly smaller than my card base, and die-cut it using the Frame It Out: Many Blessings die. I set that aside and then die-cut the frame a few more times, this time using colorful colors of cardstock … Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Pure Poppy and Green Parakeet. Using the colorful flowers and leaves in those, I filled in the negative space of the white frame.

I stamped Blessings, in Pure Poppy, in the center of my frame and then used a sentiment from the Sentiment Staples: Thanksgiving underneath. To finish this first card, I die-cut felt flowers and leaves using the Stitching Garden Die Collection.

Next up is the Say It Simply: Giving Thanks Die and Simply Gourd-eous. Using a piece of Kraft cardstock, I die-cut a Scallop Stackers: Small frame and then die-cut the sentiment out of that. I die-cut the sentiment again, this time in white, and placed it inside the negative space of the Kraft.

I love the variety of gourds that are included in the Simply Gourd-eous set. I stamped and die-cut the trio and attached them before finishing my card off with a few clear sequins.

Ok friends, only one more day to go! Have you started making your wish list yet? We have one more day of products for you to see and you definitely won't want to miss it. Until then, you can see more inspiration using the sets I used today by visiting the Papertrey Ink blog!

Enjoy your day!

Papertrey Ink - August Release Countdown - Day 3

Hello, friends! So happy to have you here for Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown. What do you think so far? Lots of amazing new product, right? I have truly enjoyed creating with each and every one of them. Today, I have two cards to share with you using the new Words to Live By: Gratitude, Text & Texture: Leaves, Seasonal Borders: Autumn and Shape Shifters: Circle 3 Die.

**All of the new products will be available August 15th at 10pm EST!**

The Text & Texture: Leaves background stamp set is so beautiful! I knew I wanted to make my card colorful and chose the following colors to work with … Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Bright Buttercup, Aqua Mist, Tropical Teal, New Leaf and Simply Chartreuse. I cut multiple pieces of white cardstock and then using my Misti, stamped each one of them with the leaf portion of the background stamp. After they were all stamped, I attached them to my white card base in a quilt like pattern.

Gratitude is the best attitude … it sure it! This is one of the sentiments in the Words to Live By: Gratitude set. I die-cut two gratitude, one in black and one in white, and layered them together to create a shadow look. The rest of the sentiment was stamped in white onto a strip of black cardstock and then attached with dimensional foam.

The new Shape Shifters: Circle 3 was used on this next card. I die-cut that in white and then colored the inside in with Copic markers. I added Aqua Mist cardstock behind, so the colored images would POP. That was attached to my Kraft card base with dimensional foam. The sentiment is from the You Made My Day stamp set, also being released on the 15th.

And lastly, I added two stamped and die-cut leaves that are from the new Seasonal Borders: Autumn.

That completes Day 3 for me, friends. Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I created. I sure do appreciate it! You can find the full details on these new products RIGHT HERE. And the rest of the Papertrey ladies have lots to share too, so be sure to pop on over to the Papertrey Ink Blog for more paper-crafting eye candy.

See you tomorrow!

Papertrey Ink - August Release Countdown - Day 2

Happy Saturday to you! It's Day 2 of the August Papertrey Ink Release Countdown and I have two cards to share with you using the new products being introduced today … Glorious Globes: August, You Made My Day, Say It Simply: Wishing You A Lovely Birthday Die and Scallop Stackers: Small Dies.

**All of the new products will be available August 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is this card created with the new Glorious Globes: August and You Made My Day sentiment set. I started with the globe and stamped the foliage images with an autumn color palette. I die-cut that and then prepped the rest of my pieces. I added three strips of colorful cardstock along the left side of my white card base and then added my sentiment. That was stamped on a strip of white cardstock and popped up with dimensional foam. Above that I added the globe and then worked on dressing it up a bit.

I die-cut a few hearts (from Paws & Kisses Die Collection) and added those around the globe and sentiment. The two leaves around the bottom are from Stitching Garden

My second card features the new Scallop Stackers and Say It Simply: Wishing You A Lovely Birthday Die. The flowers were stamped and die-cut using the Stitching Garden stamp set and dies.

I just love both of these new products. The script font is dreamy and that scallop border … well, I just love anything with scallops! :)

That's a wrap for Day 2 for me, but you'll want to visit the Papertrey Ink Blog for more on these new products. You can find all of the details HERE!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - Eat Cake

Hi again, friends! I'm back to share one more card with you today! This time I am sharing a little something with the rest of my Where Creativity Meets C9 Team for Concord & 9th's Feature Friday. It's been so much fun creating with their new products and today I have a card featuring the new, Top It Off and Top It Off Dies. I adore this cake set and have so many ideas of what I could with it!
This set also comes in a Top It Off Bundle where you can get both the stamp set and die collection together!

I started with a white card panel and stamped the cake layers off the left side of my card in a few different colors. I attached that to my aqua card front and then moved onto my sentiment. I die-cut Eat Cake out of turquoise cardstock, attached that, and then stamped Happy Birthday onto a strip of white and popped it up with dimensional foam. For a little sparkle I added hot pink and clear sequins!

For more inspiration from my wonderful teammates, be sure to visit the Concord & 9th Blog!

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Have a wonderful weekend!
