Papertrey Ink - Bold Basics + Color Block Stencils

Happy Saturday, friends! I hope you are all enjoying the weekend so far. Today, the Papertrey Ink gals have lots of inspiration to share using a new stamp set designed by the super sweet & talented Kimberly Crawford. It's called Bold Basics and it is fantastic. There is also a new stencil set, Color Block, being introduced today, as well.

We also have one more Summer Perk for you this month. By purchasing the Bold Basics Stamp Set & Color Block Stencils Bundle you will receive 10% off. Sweet deal, right?!

I decided to create my own colorful background using the diamond shape image in the set. I chose bright, vibrant colors … Orange Zest, Hawaiian Shores, Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Fizz and New Leaf

After my background was stamped I attached that to a Kraft card base and then moved onto my sentiment. This is one of the sentiments included in the set. I stamped it onto a strip of True Black cardstock and then added dimensional foam before attaching it to the front. The flowers were die-cut using the Butterfly Blooms Die Collection and the leaves are from Botanical Bounty ll.

Papertrey Ink - Glorious Globes: June + Summer Perks

Welcome, friends! Today I'm sharing three cards featuring this month's Glorious Globes, June set from Papertrey Ink. We also have another Summer Perk for you … all of the previously released Glorious Globes products are 10% off until June 26th at 11:59pm EST. The new Glorious Globes: June set is excluded from this special.

How about a pile of colorful suitcases to get us started. On a white card base I stamped all of my suitcases up the right side, in a variety of colors. All of the colors I used will be listed in the supply list at the end of my post. Along the left side, I added a strip of the new Bitty Big: Tropical Teal paper.

My sentiment is from the Words to Live By: Learn stamp set and die. I stamped 'Adventures are the best way to' and then die-cut the 'learn' out of Pure Poppy. The tiny hearts are from the Baby Mine die collection.

I don't know about you, but this card makes me want to own a suitcase in every color of the rainbow! :)

Card #2 features more colorful suitcases mixed with globes from a few different Glorious Globes sets. I started by stamping all of my suitcases, one on top of the other, and then trimmed them out in one piece. I attached that to the left side of a white card panel with dimensional foam.

Next, I stamped and die-cut a few globes to include on my card. These two are from the Glorious Globes: Basics set.

And the Wild & Free globe is from Glorious Globes: May. I also added a few stars from the Stars & Stripes die collection.

For my last card, I started by die-cutting a base for my images to sit on using the Noted: Pinked A2 Vertical die collection. I stamped and die-cut my suitcases in pinks and then popped them up with dimensional foam on my pinked rectangle.

The globe is from Glorious Globes: February. That was also popped up with dimensional foam.

The sentiment, 'Let's Get Lost', is from the new Glorious Globes: June. To finish my card, I added a few clear sequins to the center of my flowers on my globe and then attached the whole whole panel to a Green Parakeet card base.

For more inspiration using this great new addition to the Glorious Globes collection be sure to head on over to the Papertrey Ink blog

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Papertrey Ink - Cover Up: Grid + Summer Perks

Good morning! The Papertrey Ink team is back with more new product inspiration for this month's release! Today we are introducing the new Cover Up: Grid stamp set. I just love these Cover Up sets … they make creating your own backgrounds so quick and easy, but they also allow you to be extra creative and try different techniques, such as heat embossing and water-coloring!

Did you notice the Summer Perks image above? That's right, from now until Friday, June 22 at 11:59pm EST, you will receive 15% off select Cover Up stamp sets. The offer is not valid on the new Cover Up: Grid, but there are other fantastic sets to choose from. You can visit the Papertrey Ink blog for more details.

Now onto my card … I heat embossed and then used distress inks to make a colorful background for my sentiment to sit on. I used the new Love die and mixed it with Botanical Garden ll stamp set and die collection to create my sentiment. I added white glitter to the 'love', before attaching it to my card and popped up the flower with dimensional foam to create my 'o'.

Forever & Always, from With All My Heart, was stamped in black and popped up with a strip of dimensional foam. And to finish it, I added a few clear dew drops!

You will find so much more inspiration using this new Cover Up: Grid set by visiting the Papertrey Ink blog and the rest of the Papertrey ladies! You won't want to miss what they've created for you.

Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown - Day 4

Happy Wednesday, friends! We're back for another day filled with new Papertrey Ink goodness. We have a new Botanical Bounty set for you today, as well as a stamp set and die geared towards LOVE

**All of the new products will be available June 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is the beautiful new floral set, Botanical Bounty ll. And trust me when I say that this set is just as gorgeous as the first Botanical Bounty. I chose a fresh, clean color palette, using a mix of Simply Chartreuse, Green Parakeet an Ripe Avocado for my leaves, and Bright Buttercup, Lilac Grace and Orange Zest for my flowers.

After stamping and die-cutting all of my leaves, I created a wreath for my flowers to sit on. Those were attached with dimensional foam. I also stamped and die-cut more leaves to tuck underneath my flowers.

My sentiment was stamped using the new How Are You Today? set (also available on the 15th).

I added a few clear sequins to finish it off and give it a little sparkle.

I LOVE love .. :) and this new stamp set and die make me so happy! I wanted to add lots of color to my card, so I die-cut 'Love' four times in the following colors … Hibiscus Burst, Berry Sorbet, Melon Berry and Pale Peony. After die-cutting, I cut each letter to separate them and then mixed the colors together to recreate my 'Love' die. I attached those to a white card base and then, using the new $5 With All My Heart sentiment set, I stamped one of the sentiments on a strip of white cardstock and attached it just below, with dimensional foam.

My hearts were die-cut using the heart from the Baby Mine die collection. Along the bottom I added a strip of white cardstock and a strip of Bitty Big: Pale Peony. And lastly, a few clear sequins to complete it!

Thanks for visiting, friends! Enjoy your day and I'll see you again very soon!

**Not yet linked, but will available June 15th at 10pm EST … Botanical Bounty ll, With All My Heart & Love die and How Are You Today?**

Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown - Day 3

Hello, crafty friends! Today's Papertrey Ink Release Countdown post is all about laughter and flowers! Two of the best things, am I right? We are featuring Words to Live By: Laugh and How Are You Today?

**All of the new products will be available June 15th at 10pm EST!**

I have mixed the two new sets together to create my card for today. I started by stamping one of the flowers, from the How Are You Today? stamp set, onto a piece of Harvest Gold cardstock to create my floral background. I attached that to my white card base. I then stamped and die-cut all of my flowers and leaves, again from How Are You Today?, and attached those to a rectangle I had die-cut using the Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical Dies. You can find all of the colors I used in the supply list at the end of my post.

I stamped part of my sentiment, from Words to Live By: Laugh, in black and then die-cut 'Laugh' out of Pure Poppy and attached it just above. Before attaching the rectangle to my card front I added a strip of Hawaiian Shores cardstock across the center of my card base. The rectangle was then popped up with dimensional foam and a few clear sequins were added to complete it.

I adore these two sets and can't wait to create with them more! I hope you enjoyed.

Have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown - Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of this month's Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Today, we have more ocean love for you. There are three new products we are introducing … Text & Texture: Ocean, Reef Builder Dies and Shape Shifters: Oval 2.

**All of the new products will be available June 15th at 10pm EST!**

I started by stamping the Text & Texture: Ocean background stamp on three different colors of card-stock … Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal. Next, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the Shape Shifters: Oval 2 die collection. I also used the same die to die-cut the three pieces of cardstock that I had stamped with the Text & Texture: Ocean background. I then filled in the spaces in the white oval with the pieces from the stamped ocean ones.

After attaching the oval to my Aqua Mist card base, I stamped and die-cut the seahorse and fish from the new Salt Air: Fauna set that was introduced yesterday. I attached those to the center of my oval and then stamped a sentiment, from the Salt Air: Sentiments set, on a strip of white cardstock. I popped that up with dimensional foam and then attached a few dies, from the Reef Builder dies collection, on either side.

To finish it, I added a few clear dew drops!

So glad you stopped by today. There is still lots to see from the Papertrey gang … be sure to hop on over to the Papertrey Ink blog for more inspiration using these fabulous new sets!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #22 - Sparkle & Shine

It's time to Sparkle and Shine with Where Creativity Meets C9! Can you believe we are on Challenge #22? Time sure does fly when you are having fun (and when you have such amazing Concord & 9th products to create with)! So, there many different ways you could take this challenge … glitter, embossing, shiny cardstock and the list goes on. I chose sequins … lots of shiny and colorful sequins! I hope sequins never fade out in paper-crafting because they are one of my favorite things to add to my cards.

I used the Happy Balloon Bundle and started by die-cutting a solid balloon and attached all of my colorful sequins to that. I used mini glue dots to attach them all. Over that I attached an outlined balloon that I had die-cut out of turquoise cardstock. I adhered the balloon to my card front and then moved onto my sentiment. I die-cut two of the 'happy' balloons and then trimmed the edges off before adhering them to my card.

To complete my card I die-cut three light pink hearts and attached those around my sentiment and balloon.

Now it's your turn. Come join us in the Sparkle and Shine challenge! You have until June 29th to add your card to the link-up and enter for a chance to win a $25 Concord & 9th gift certificate!

Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your day!
