Honeybee Stamps + STAMPtember

Hello! This past month has been full of excitement over at Simon Says Stamp. STAMPtember is such a fun month filled with collaborations from many different companies. Today, I'm happy to be joining in to share a little something using the set designed by one of my favorites, Honey Bee Stamps

I started by stamping the tiny heart, from Coffee Break, multiple times onto my white card panel. I colored those in using Zig markers and then moved onto my sentiment, from the STAMPtember set,  Remarkable You. I love a sentiment set and this one is beyond awesome! Along the bottom portion of my card, I simply added strips of colorful cardstock that coordinate with my colorful hearts. Before attaching my card panel to my turquoise card front, I added white twine and a few clear sequins.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #13 - Ink Only

Happy Saturday to you, friends! It's one of my favorite days of the month. The 9th means a new release from Concord & 9th and also, a new Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge. Can you believe we are on Challenge #13? Time sure does fly when you are having fun! And this months theme is also one of my favorites ... Ink Only.

I used the oh so sweet set, Orange You Sweet, to create my card for today. I started with a simple white card panel and began stamping my colorful citrus along the top and bottom. I also did a little masking, so I could overlap them. Next, came my sentiment. I've always been a fan of big and bold sentiments, and love that there is a 'Sweet' image that is just the outline, giving you the option of coloring it in or using the solid 'Sweet' to stamp inside. For this card, I chose to use the solid image. I also used the Pineapple Perfection set to add the 'Friend' in there and complete my sentiment.

You have until September 29th to get your projects in and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th. Happy creating!

Concord & 9th's Feature Friday - Pineapple Perfection

Hello again! Today, the Where Creativity Meets C9 team is sharing their last Concord & 9th Feature Friday projects with you. Pineapple Perfection is the final set in this month's new release and let me tell you, it is pretty amazing! I love how unique it is with the flowers being a part of the pineapple.

Here's a peek at the entire set, plus the die collection that coordinates with it...

And here is what I created ...

When I see pineapples, I think Hawaii and when I think Hawaii, I think bright, bold colors! So, I went with a tropical colors for my card. I started by stamping the pineapple off the left side of my card front. Then, using the Copic colors you see in the photo above, I colored it in. I die cut the coordinating banner die, stamped my sentiment and attached it with foam. I added a die cut flower just above that and a couple of leaves. And lastly, sequins ... lots and lots of sequins! :)

The Feature Friday blog post is filled with lots more inspiration from the Where Creativity Meets C9 team ... be sure to pop by to see what they have to share!

Enjoy your weekend!

Honey Bee Stamps + Ellen Hutson Blog Hop

Good morning and Happy Friday to you, friends! Welcome to the Ellen Hutson & Honey Bee Stamps blog hop. Today, we are sharing projects using the new United We Flourish set, Sending Sunshine.

More bright and happy rainbow colors for today. I used the Busy Bees stamp set and coordinating dies, to create my flowers along the left side of my card. For my flower centers, I simple punched black circles and used my white gel pen to create polka dots

Next came my sentiment. I die cut 'sunshine' out of yellow cardstock and then added the rest of the sentiment above and below that. Lastly, I added a few sequins to complete it.

There is so much more Sending Sunshine to see. Here is the complete list of hoppers for you to visit and get inspiration from ...
