Essentials by Ellen - United We Flourish - Sending Sunshine with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, sweet friends! Today, I am honored to be sharing a project in the Ellen Hutson CLASSroom using the new United We Flourish set, Sending Sunshine.

Here's a bit more info about the United We Flourish Campaign...

Last November we began celebrating our 10th anniversary with the theme United We Flourish. And what does United We Flourish mean? It means that our company would not be here without the amazing companies we work with, the designers who create stunning projects showcasing the wonderful products being created AND you, our fabulous customers! YOU are such a vital part of our creative community - you inspire & encourage us! Your response to United We Flourish was overwhelming and heart-warming. We heard repeatedly from you that you appreciate how our little company works together with the other manufacturers we carry to bring you their products and education showing how to use those products. To thank you for your constant support and encouragement, we have partnered with some of our friends to offer exclusive limited edition stamp & die sets!!! These sets will be available for a limited time (most likely 3-6 months) after each release, depending on how quickly you snap them up. The theme of these stamps sets are uplifting and fun.

We are thrilled to present the third one to you...Sending Sunshine by Honey Bee Stamps exclusively for Ellen Hutson LLC.

And here is a closer peek at this beautiful new set that is filled with uplifting and positive words! LOVE!!

Now onto my project ... because this sentiment set is filled with uplifting words, I thought bright, happy colors were a must for my project. I used a mix of wonderful products, from Honey Bee Stamps, that all work perfectly with the new Sending Sunshine stamps and dies. Here is the list of products I used ...

I started by die-cutting a piece of white cardstock using the Sunburst A2 cover plate. I then die-cut the Sunburst again, multiple times, using each of the colors in the rays of the sun. I filled all of those rays in and attached it to the front of my card base. That seems like a lot of die-cutting, I know, but don't worry ... I have saved all of those extras for another project or two. ;)

Next, I die cut the clouds and sentiment and attached those before completing it with a few sequins!

Be sure to head on over to the CLASSroom now, where I'm joined by two talented ladies who are sharing more using this fabulous new set!

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Concord & 9th's 2nd Birthday Celebration Continues - Here's the Scoop

Good morning, friends! I'm so thrilled to be sharing a project with you today featuring another new product from Concord & 9th ... Here's the Scoop! The images and sentiments in this set are so, so cute! I'm loving the big bowl of ice cream and big, bold 'Here's the Scoop' sentiment!

I decided to keep my card simple + sweet for today and *almost* one layer.

I started with a crisp white card base and stamped the bowl of ice cream on the front, in black ink. Next, I stamped my sentiment, Here's the Scoop, just above.

Now comes the coloring. I used the Copic colors you see in the picture above to color in all that ice cream goodness. I wanted to use one of the other sentiments in the set and die cut the banner using the Here's the Scoop die collection. I then stamped that with It's your day! To finish it I added this glitter to give a little sparkle to each of the scoops of ice cream.

There is a lot more to see from my fellow Where Creativity Meets C9 teammates, so be sure to pop on over to Concord & 9th for their Feature Friday blog post. Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I hope your weekend is filled with all things happy!!

Concord & 9th's 2nd Birthday Celebration - Happy Balloons

Good morning! Welcome to another Friday of more Concord & 9th goodness. The Where Creativity Meets C9 team is back for Feature Friday and today we are sharing projects using the new set, Happy Balloons.

There are soooo many possibilities when creating with this sweet set. Just the stamp set alone has a variety of stamping options, but then add the die collection and it's even more amazing!

I love the 'happy' balloon die outline and chose to focus on that for my card today.

I started with a white piece of card-stock (4" x 5.25") and stamped the decorative triangle line image along the bottom. Next, I die-cut all of my balloon pieces and attached those to the center of the white stamped panel. Then came the banner that I stamped 'birthday' on, the balloon string and tassels. I added a few sequins before attaching it to my turquoise card base.

And because I loved that card so much I continued on and made a set of 4. I kept the colors all the same... hot pink, light purple, turquoise and yellow. I just mixed and matched between the cards.

Thanks so much for popping in to say hello. You can see lots more Happy Balloons inspiration on my talented teammates blogs and on the Concord & 9th blog

Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge - Merry Christmas

Good morning! Today I'm playing along in the Ellen Hutson Mix-It-Up Challenge

The challenge this month is to mix any Essentials by Ellen stamps with Avery Elle.

I went with a Christmas theme for my card and these are the two sets I mixed ...

I couldn't stop at just one card, so I created two. I used the coordinating Sweet Tidings die collection to create all of my images and colored them in with Copics.

Thanks for popping in!

Concord & 9th's 2nd Birthday Celebration - Sprinkles Turnabout

Happy Friday, friends! I'm so excited to be back, along with the rest of the Where Creativity Meets C9 team, to continue the celebration of Concord & 9th's 2nd birthday. Today, we are sharing projects using their new, and oh so fun set, Sprinkles Turnabout & the Sprinkles Tag dies.

Love this set so much! The cupcakes, the sentiments, the sprinkles...everything!

Cupcakes & sprinkles call for lots of color! I kept my background white and focused on making those cupcakes POP!

Hey there cupcake! How cute is this sentiment?!

I die-cut the coordinating die, and stamped my sentiment and cupcake, before attaching it to my card front with dimensional foam. So fun, bright & cheery!!

Just a friendly reminder (and maybe a little enabling) about the Concord & 9th Promotions that are going on. Trust me, you'll want to check it out! ;)

Enjoy your day and thanks for visiting with me!

Concord & 9th's 2nd Birthday Celebration

Good morning! Today, the Where Creativity Meets C9 team is helping Concord & 9th celebrate their 2nd birthday. YAY! They have peeked some pretty amazing new products over the past few days. Just when I think I couldn't possibly love their designs anymore, they release something new and even more fabulous!

Like this new Seriously, Thank You stamp set. This set is FREE, in the month of August, when you spend $60 or more in their shop.

There is also a new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge to join in on this month. Challenge #12 is Anything Goes! ..

Now onto my card for today. There are so many possible ways to use the images in this stamp set. I started by stamping the sentiment, in black ink, onto a piece of white cardstock. I then stamped it again, in yellow, onto a piece of yellow cardstock and trimmed the 'SERIOUSLY' out. I attached that over the black 'SERIOUSLY' I had stamped first. Next, I filled in the white space of the letters by coloring them in with Copics. And lastly, to dress up my sentiment even more, I added a few of the decorative lines around some of the words.

Before attaching my sentiment to my card front, I stamped and die-cut a few flowers and leaves using the Petals & Pallets stamp and die collection and attached those along the left side of my card. To complete it, I added clear sequins for a bit of sparkle and shine.

To learn more about how you can receive the Seriously, Thank You set for FREE, please visit Concord & 9th's Promo Page.
