Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge - Oh Happy Day

Joining in for this month's Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge. It's all about green this month, which was certainly a challenge for me. Green isn't normally a color I create with. I use it for accents, but not usually for my main color.

Bold Blooms certainly gets A LOT of love in my studio. I just love this set! After stamping all of my floral images in greens, I pulled out another favorite of mine, Up the Happy. I die cut and stamped two butterflies, using vellum, and heat embossed them in black.

After attaching the butterflies to my stamped floral panel, I added a few clear and black sequins. To complete it I added a strip of fun aqua pom pom trim.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope your day is happy!

2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Popping on this Tuesday morning to share a card for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Have you been hopping along? There is so much coffee loving inspiration, as well as many wonderful sponsors and prizes. Such a fun hop to join in on!

As much as I love coffee ... and that's A LOT ... my card for today is all about TEA!

I used the Cup of Wishes set from Mama Elephant and created a pretty stack of floral tea cups, using the masking technique. The sentiment is from the Right At Home stamp set, How Have You Bean? I added a strip of chevron patterned paper along the right side and a bit of white twine before attaching it all to my card front with dimensional foam.

And last but not least came the sequins!

Thanks for visiting with me today. Happy creating!

CardMaker + Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

Happy Monday to you, crafty friends! We are kicking off this brand new week with an exciting CardMaker blog hop, featuring Pretty Pink Posh. You should have arrived here from the awesome blog of Stephanie Gold. If you didn't, you can find the complete list of hoppers on the CardMaker blog.

I love the new sets that Paulina recently released. They are absolutely the sweetest images and I couldn't wait to start creating with them.

I used the Easter Friends stamp + die collection, along with the new Scallop Square Tag Dies, to create my card for today. I started by die cutting the girl, boy and basket and then stamped and colored them in. I'll link all of the colors I used at the end of my post. After those were finished, I set them aside and moved onto my tag. I die cut two of them...one in white and one in green and then used a large circle die to die cut the green one to create my 'hill'. I attached that to the white tag and then attached the adorable girl and boy. I wrapped a bit of hot pink twine around the bottom of the tag and then adhered it to my white card base using dimensional foam.

Next came my sentiment...don't you just LOVE that font!! After stamping that, I added a strip of teal cardstock along the bottom.

And lastly, I added a few sequins from the pretty pink Friendship mix.

**Here are a few links you will want to be sure and visit...**
*Your next stop in the hop is the super talented Heather Hoffman.
*You can find the complete list of hoppers on the CardMaker Blog.
*Paulina is hosting a pretty awesome giveaway on the Pretty Pink Posh blog. Here is a peek at the prize one lucky winner will receive!

Happy hopping!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #7 - CASE A Designer

Hey there, crafty friends! I'm so excited that another Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge is upon us, aren't you? This month our challenge is to CASE a Designer. I feel so fortunate to be working with such talented creatives on this team, it was hard for me to choose just one card, because I love them all.

I chose to CASE Lindsey's 'Happy Day' card from her Love Notes post. I just love the sweet simplicity of this card and couldn't wait to create one similar to hers.

No stamping on my card today, just lots of die-cutting. I began by die-cutting the banner from Happy Day, and adhering it to my card front with dimensional foam. Next, I die-cut the hearts, from the Beautiful You die collection, and adhered those to my banner. I used the same die collection to die-cut the word 'beautiful' and attached that just above the banner.

And last but not least, 'friend' was die-cut using the Thinking of You die collection. Sweet + simple!

I'm so happy you stopped by to visit with me today. I'm really excited to see what you create for this challenge ... 'CASE a Designer' ... I hope you will join us in the fun. You have until March 29th to link your projects and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th. Have fun and happy creating!
