Concord & 9th June Guest Designer - Come Chill With Us

Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I'm kicking off this week with my final post as a guest designer for Concord & 9th. I absolutely love their designs and feel so honored that I was able to share a few projects with you using their two newest stamp sets, Sweet & Cool and You're My Person, along with the new Thinking of You die set. Thank you Angie + Greg for this great opportunity!

Let's start off with a sweet + colorful card using the Sweet & Cool stamp set, along with the Sweet & Cool coordinating dies. I started by stamping my sentiment onto a piece of white card-stock and then stamped the small popsicle randomly around that. Next, I die cut multiple popsicles, in a variety of colors, and adhered them over the outlined images. Then came the hearts!

Lots + lots of hearts. I love tiny hearts and am so happy that there is one included in this set. After die-cutting them all, I simply attached them to the centers of my pops. And lastly, I added a strip of card-stock along the right side...yes, with more of those cute, tiny hearts!

For my second card, I mixed the large floral cluster stamp, from You're My Person, with the Thinking of You die. These are the marker colors I used to color in my flowers...

One of my favorite color combinations. So summery and cheerful!

After die-cutting the Thinking of You, I added colorful card-stock behind to make the sentiment stand out. A border along the bottom and a couple of black buttons complete the card.

Thanks so much for stopping in today. I hope you enjoyed the projects I shared!

Essentials by Ellen June Pin-Sights Challenge

Happy Saturday! Today, I have a card to share for the Essentials by Ellen June Pin-Sights Challenge.

These colors...WOW! So much inspiration in this one little photo.

I mixed two of my favorite Essentials by Ellen stamp sets to create this card... Bold Blooms and Mondo Hydrangea. I started by stamping my piece of hot pink card-stock, using the three dots in the Bold Blooms set. After adhering that to the front of my card base, I attached to strips of light pink card-stock along the top and bottom. I die cut my flowers and leaves, stamped them and then added them with a bit of foam tape.

The clear droplets I added to the centers of my flowers are from Pretty Pink Posh. I added my sentiment and a bit of white twine along the side to complete it.

Thanks so much for popping in today!

Concord & 9th June Guest Designer - Happy Summer

Happy Wednesday, all! I'm back today to share more goodness from Concord & 9th. This is my third post as one of their June guest designers and I am having a blast creating with all of their new products!

Let's get started with what I have to share with you today....

Up first is a clean and simple card, which is my favorite to create. I used a few of the sentiments in the You're My Person stamp set and mixed them with the flower from the Floral & Flutter die collection. For the centers of each of my flowers, I die cut the heart from the Sweet & Cool die collection.

Next up is a colorful 'happy summer' card featuring those fun popsicles in the Sweet & Cool stamp set. I, of course, feel like everything should be flowery and pretty, so I decided to stamp the pops using the large floral image from the You're My Person stamp set. A simple banner, stamped with my sentiment, and a couple of clear droplets complete it!

And lastly for today is a card using a mix of a few Concord & 9th products. I die cut a few butterflies, from Floral & Flutter, in different colors and then paper pieced the butterfly all together using pieces from each die cut butterfly. The border strip along the side was stamped using the leafy image from You're My Person. The sentiment is also from You're My Person! Isn't that the best sentiment! I just love it!

Thanks so much for popping in today!

Concord & 9th June Guest Designer - Thinking of You

Hello, friends! Happy Monday to you. I'm back today to share my second post as a June guest designer for Concord & 9th. Today, I will be highlighting the fabulous new stamp set, You're My Person, along with the new Thinking of You die set. These two new products work perfectly together and the options for creating are endless!

http://concordand9th.com/

I created a set of four cheery cards and started by stamping the large floral background, from You're My Person, onto four strips of white card-stock. I debated about coloring the flowers in, but decided I liked the simple black and white for this set of cards. I set those aside and then moved onto die-cutting my Thinking of You frames.

Behind each of the frames, I added a piece of white card-stock to make the sentiment stand out. Next, I pulled out a circle punch and punched out the centers for my flowers. After all of those steps were complete, I moved onto assembling each of my cards. The result...four colorful, cheerful cards that are ready for sending to four special people!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your Monday!

Melissa

Concord & 9th June Guest Designer – Happy Birthday

Hello there, crafty friends! I am so thrilled and honored to be a guest designer for Concord & 9th this month. I fell in love with their sweet designs the moment I discovered them. If you have not had the chance to browse their website, be sure to stop by and take a look around!

For my first guest post, I will be sharing a card using the new set, Sweet & Cool. I can not express enough how much I adore these images. So many creative possibilities! Of course, the first thing I could think of when I saw this set was COLOR!
I focused on using the coordinating Sweet & Cool dies
to create my card for you today. After die cutting 4 pops, one of each color, I trimmed each one into four sections. I die cut another pop out of white card-stock and then started adhering my colored pieces to the front.

I added more colorful stripes along the bottom of my card, a tiny die cut heart to the center of my pop and my 'Happy Birthday' sentiment. The fonts in this set are so much fun. I love a pretty, scripty font and the 'happy' font, well... just makes me happy! :)
I hope you enjoyed my first guest post using these awesome new products. I will be back soon to share even more Concord & 9th goodness with you.

Wishing you all a happy day!

Melissa
