Ink to Paper Release Countdown - Day 1

Good morning, friends and welcome to Day 1 of the June Ink to Paper Release Countdown. Our first day is filled with sets and images that are perfect for all things related to celebrations! Today includes … More of: Celebrating You, Confetti Streamers, Garden Party and Watercolor Textures: Dots.

**All of the new products you see will be available on the Ink to Paper website on June 15th at 10pm EST!**

More of: Celebrating You and Confetti Streamers are the sets I used on my first card. Both are just perfect for creating quick and easy cards, as well as more detailed. I started by stamping one of the confetti images in Confetti Streamers along the top of my white card base. That was stamped in Hawaiian Shores ink.

I stamped one of the balloon strings multiple times just below the confetti. There are a few different balloon images in the set. I chose the star shaped one to create with for today. I stamped and die-cut three of them and then popped them up with dimensional foam above the balloon strings I had stamped. The colors I used on those … Pale Peony, Melon Berry and Harvest Gold.

Sending happy thoughts was stamped on a strip of Hawaiian shores and then attached with dimensional foam. To complete my first card I stamped and die-cut two swirly strings, attached those and added a few colorful sequins!

My second card for today features Garden Party and Watercolor Textures: Dots. I couldn't help but make this one super bright and cheery! I started by creating a rectangle frame using the Nesting Basics: Rectangles Dies. Around that frame I stamped one of the images in Watercolor Textures: Dots, in a variety of bright colors.

That was attached to a white card base and then set aside. Next, I used the new Garden Party to create my banners. This set is so great and is filled with such a variety of options for creating with it. I used the individual letters to stamp out HAPPY on each die-cut banner.

After attaching them across my card, I stamped 'birthday' just underneath to complete my sentiment. As a final touch, I added more color with sequins!

That wraps up Day 1 from me. The rest of the gals have so much to share with you today. Be sure to pop on over to the Ink to Paper Blog to see their projects!

Thanks for visiting with me!

Melissa

Saturday Showcase - Watercolor Textures: Brush Strokes

Hi friends! It's time for another Saturday Showcase with Ink to Paper! Watercolor Textures: Brush Strokes is our featured set this week and a few of us on the team have created projects to share with you! Let's jump right into my card for today ...

To begin, I wanted to create a background for my images and sentiment to sit on. I stamped one of the brush strokes onto a white card base in the following colors … Sweet Blush, Hibiscus, Bright Buttercup and Orange Zest.

I die-cut 'Smile' from the Frame It out: Wishes Die Collection and attached that in the center of my stamped background. Underneath, I added the rest of my sentiment from the Frame It Out: Wishes Stamp Set. That was stamped in Fresh Snow onto a strip of True Black cardstock and then popped up with dimensional foam. Next, I die-cut and stamped 3 of the floral images from Nature's Background Essentials. Those were also popped up with dimensional foam.

To complete my card I added a few leaves and colorful sequins!

Thanks so much for popping in today!

Melissa

Design Team Tips - Colorful Sentiments

YAY for Friday! It's time for a Design Team Tip with Ink to Paper. Today I'm sharing how I created colorful and eye catching sentiments using the new Frame It Out: Wishes Stamp and Die Collection. I love creating with word and sentiment dies and this is just one more way to stretch the use of them!

I started by stamping the Loosely Woven Background Stamp along the left side of each of my white card bases. One in Berry Sorbet and the other in Hibiscus. I set those aside and then moved onto my sentiments.

To create the colorful background for my sentiment I simply used strips of colorful cardstock that I had in my leftover pile. I attached the strips to a piece of white cardstock and then die-cut them using larger shadow 'Smile' die.

I did the same with the 'Be Well' die. After attaching the bold and colorful sentiments to my card fronts, I stamped the rest of my sentiment onto a strip of True Black.

I added a few die-cut leaves and sequins around each of the sentiments to complete my card!

This is such a great way to use up those leftover strips of cardstock that we always have laying around!

Thanks so much for visiting!

Saturday Showcase - Many Anemones

Hi there, friends! Today, the Ink to Paper team is sharing a whole lot of eye candy with projects created with the new Many Anemones Stamp and Die Collection. This is such a gorgeous set and the possibilities when creating with both the stamps and dies are endless. The team has truly put together a variety of different examples and ways you can create cards with these beautiful images!

I chose a fresh color combo and layout for today. I started by stamping one of full outlined flowers directly onto my white card base. I stamped three along the left side and then filled the petals in using the solid images in the following colors … Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise and Melon Berry. I then stamped the leaves surrounding the flowers in Green Parakeet and the leave veins in True Black. Along the right side of my card, I stamped the Fully Woven Background in Pale Peony.

Next, using the Many Anemones Die Collection, I die-cut three more flowers and stamped them in the same colors as the first ones. I attached all three to the front of my card using dimensional foam.

I love the handwritten sentiments in this set … so, so beautiful! I stamped 'beautiful you' in True Black and then to complete my card I added a few clear sequins!

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Melissa

Transformation Tuesday - You Will Move Mountains

Good morning, sweet friends! Today I'm hosting Transformation Tuesday on the Ink to Paper Blog. I chose one of my clean and simple designs from the recent release and transformed it into yet another clean and simple card. We have many graduations we'll be celebrating in the coming weeks and I thought this would be the perfect chance to stock up on a few cards for the occasions. Clean and simple designs are always a go to for me, especially when I need to mass produce.

Here is my original card using Simply Sweet: YOU. You can find the full post right HERE!

I kept my transformed card very similar to my original, I just switched up the image around the border and used a sentiment that was perfect for a graduate.

I used the sunburst around the border and stamped it in the following colors … Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest and Hibiscus. I used the Simply Sweet: YOU Die Collection to create my images in the center. I attached the mountain scape that I had die-cut and stamped in Harvest Gold and just above added a sunburst that was die-cut out of white cardstock.

I die-cut and stamped the YOU and then popped it up with dimensional foam and then added the rest of my sentiment, will move mountains, underneath. To complete my card, I added white Nuvo drops inside each of the sunbursts around the border!

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!

Melissa
