Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 3

Hello! Hello! Hello, friends! Are you ready for Day 3 of this month's Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Are the new products not amazing this month? I'm am so loving creating with all of these wonderful new goodies. For today, I have two cards to share with you using the following  … Glorious Globes: October, Words to Live By: Peace, Warmer Together and Bold Borders: Flurries!

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first for me is Glorious Globes: October and Words to Live By: Peace. I started with a white card panel, cut slightly smaller than my Aqua Mist card base. Across the middle of that I stamped the peace image in the following colors … Simply Chartreuse, Orange Zest, Pale Peony and Aqua Mist.

I die-cut 'peace' (from Words to Live By: Peace) in True Black, attached that and then stamped the rest of my sentiment onto a strip of white. I also stamped and die-cut the sweet little bird from Glorious Globes: October and attached that with dimensional foam. A few colorful sequins complete this first card.

Warmer Together and Bold Borders: Flurries are the featured products used on my next card. I started with a Hawaiian Shores card base. Along the bottom, I added just one side of the new Bold Borders: Flurries dies. To give it a little color, I added a pop of Hibiscus inside some of the snowflakes. Along the top I added a die-cut 'JOY', also from the Bold Borders: Flurries. 'Winter' is one of the sentiments from Warm Together.

And now for those adorable penguins. After stamping and die-cutting them, they were popped up with dimensional foam. To finish this card I added a few hearts, from Warmer Together, and a few clear sequins!

That wraps up Day 3 for me! For more details on these new products you can visit HERE!

I hope you enjoyed my cards for today. I truly appreciate all of your kind words you've left... thanks so much, friends. I'll see you right back here tomorrow with more to share!

Until then, have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown, friends. Warm & Fuzzy, Shape Shifters: Square 3 Dies, Corner Adorner: October and Sentiment Staples: Season's Greetings are the beautiful new products that are being introduced today. Let's not waste any time and jump right to my projects for today.

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

For my first card we have the new Corner Adorner: October set with a sentiment from Sentiment Staples: Season's Greetings. I started by covering my card base with a piece of Harvest Gold Bitty Big patterned paper. Next, using the Pierced Features Frames: Oval dies, I created a base for my sentiment and images to sit on.

The new Corner Adorner: October is such a lovely set. I love all of the different pieces that allow you to create a beautiful holiday spray! I die-cut duplicates and attached them to both sides of my sentiment. To finish it off, I added a few clear sequins.

Card #2 features the Warm & Fuzzy set, along with the new Shape Shifters: Square 3 Dies
I started by die-cutting the square die out of Spring Moss cardstock. I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the green square, but before attaching it I stamped one of the snowflake images (from Warm & Fuzzy) along the outside edge in Aqua Mist ink. I then stamped the sentiment along the bottom and attached it to the green square.

Next came the mittens. The solid mitten image was stamped in Hibiscus ink and the stripes in Pure Poppy. I also created a border along the bottom by stamping the striped mitten image along a strip of Hibiscus cardstock. A few red and clear sequins complete this card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I sure do appreciate it! :)

Be sure to visit THIS PAGE for the details on all of the new stamps and dies introduced today! Also, the rest of the team has so much to share with you, be sure to stop and show them some love!

Papertrey Ink - October Release Countdown - Day 1

Hi there, friends! It's time to kick off the October Papertrey Ink Release Countdown and let me just say that the designers did such an amazing job creating the new products for this month. I'm always excited to see what each month brings, and this month is definitely not a disappointment. So prepare yourself for lots of Papertrey goodness and inspiration.

My card today features Sending Joy and the Folded Pocket Tag Die!

**All of the new products will be available October 15th at 10pm EST!**

I love sweet and simple stamp sets and the new Sending Joy set is just that. I know without a doubt that it's going to be getting a lot of love from me! There is a plaid background strip included in the set and that is the first thing I reached for when I started to create my card. I used Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet and Spring Moss and stamped the strip in each of those colors, cut them and then attached them to a white card base to create my background.

I used the new Folded Pocket Tag Die as the base for my sentiment and images. After stamping and die-cutting them all, I simply attached them to the tag. The whole tag was then attached to my card front with dimensional foam.

To complete my card, I added red Nuvo Drops to create my berries!

Thanks for visiting with me. I'll see you again tomorrow for Day 2 of the countdown. Enjoy your day, friends!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #26 - Layers

Hey there, friends! Who's ready for a new Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge!? This month we are focusing on 'Layers'. There are so many different ways to create a layered card, we can't wait to see what your take will be on it. I chose to keep my card still pretty simple, both the layout and the layering.

I started with a white card base and added a strip of black and white patterned paper along the bottom. I die-cut the 'hello' from the Orange You Sweet die collection and attached that above the striped paper. The 'L VE" and heart are from the Love You So Bundle. Those were added underneath the hello with dimensional foam. I added a flower, from So Happy For You, and leave from the Just Because die collection. And to finish it off, I added 'hugs & kisses', again from Love You So.

Thanks for visiting with me today. I'm excited to see all of the layered cards that you create for this challenge ... I hope you'll join us! You have until October 29th to link your projects and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th.

Have fun and happy creating!

Papertrey Ink - September Release Countdown - Day 5

The final day of the September Papertrey Ink Release Countdown has arrived. What an amazing release it has been. I know it's only September, but all of these beautiful new holiday products sure do put me in the Christmas spirit … extra early this year! :) For my final day I'm sharing two cards with you and they feature Penned Elegance: Christmas, Seasonal Borders: Winter and the Poinsettia & Pine Mini Kit.

**All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is the Penned Elegance: Christmas set and Seasonal Borders: Winter … both such stunning sets! I started by stamping a background using the Text & Texture: Wood Slices that was introduced a couple of days ago. I attached that to a Sweet Blush card base and then moved onto the rest of my card. I used the Pierced Feature Frames: Oval for the base of my sentiment and florals.

The images in the Seasonal Borders: Winter mixed with the Penned Elegance: Christmas sentiments create the most beautiful card. Just wait til you see what the rest of the team created!

My second card features the new Poinsettia & Pine Mini Kit. Another Christmas must have! There are so many different bits and pieces included in this set, including a stamp set, dies and coordinating patterned paper. I used the tag die to create my focal point on my card. I stamped my poinsettia image, die-cut it and attached it to the tag with dimensional foam. Along the bottom of my card, I used a piece of the coordinating patterned paper, fussy cut it out and then attached it to the bottom.

I hope you've enjoyed all of my projects for this months release, as much as I enjoyed creating them. Thank you so much for popping in during the countdown and for you kind comments!

The rest of the team still have a lot to share, so be sure to head on over to the Papertrey Ink blog to be inspired!

Have a wonderful day, friends!
