Papertrey Ink April Release - Day 3 - Butterfly Folk, Botanical Bounty + Bold Borders: Flare

Welcome back for more of this month's Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Day 3 is filled with gorgeous butterflies, stunning florals and a new Bold Borders die!

**All of the new products will be available April 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first are two new $15 butterfly sets ... Butterfly Folk and Butterfly Folk Outlines. The detail put into these is simply beautiful and both are filled with a wide variety of not only butterflies, but also sweet florals. For my card today I used a mix of both sets.

I started by die-cutting a white panel using the new Noted Simply Stitched die (that will be released on the 15th with all of the of the other new product), On that panel I stamped one of the butterflies from the Butterfly Folk Outlines set in Sweet Blush. I set that aside and moved onto my die-cut butterflies.

Using the Butterfly Folk stamp and die collection, I stamped and die-cut the trio in Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet and Melon Berry. Those were then popped up onto my stamped white panel with dimensional foam.

In the center of each butterfly I added stamped and die-cut flowers and leaves, again from the Butterfly Folk stamp and die collection. The sentiment is from Kindness Counts. That was stamped in white onto True Black cardstock and then popped up between the two butterflies with dimensional foam.
My second card today was created with the new Botanical Bounty floral set. I love, love, love florals and this set is just beautiful. I'm so looking forward to spending more time creating with it. This card also features the new, and oh so awesome, Bold Borders: Flare die.

Kraft, Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz and Berry Sorbet are the colors I chose to create with for this card. I started by die-cutting the Bold Borders: Flare die in Kraft cardstock. I attached that to my white card base and then die-cut another border in Raspberry Fizz. I adhered all of the Raspberry Fizz dots inside the negative spaces in the Kraft.

After stamping and die-cutting all of my flowers, from Botanical Bounty, I attached them with dimensional foam and then moved onto my sentiment. The 'happy' is part of the Bold Borders: Flare die. I die-cut that out of Berry Sorbet and then again, popped it up with more dimensional foam. Mother's Day is from Simple Stems.

I hope you enjoyed what I created for today and that I've inspired you just a little bit. For a lot more inspiration be sure to pop on over to the Papertrey Ink blog to see what the rest of the team has created for today. All of their projects are simply amazing!

Hope your day is a happy one. I'll see you right back here tomorrow with lots more to share!

Papertrey Ink April Release - Day 2 - Fence Line Spring + Paws & Kisses + A Bit More: Paws & Kisses

Hello! Welcome back for Day 2 of the April Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Today we have a beautiful floral spring set, the most adorable puppy set and a set of stitched dies that will surely become a must have staple in your craft room!

**All of the new products will be available April 15th at 10pm EST!**

Up first is Fence Line Spring ... a beautiful set featuring a variety of images perfect for creating your very own spring front yard scene. Also featured is the new Noted Simply Stitched die collection ... love these stitched rectangles.

I started by die-cutting one of the smaller rectangles in the Noted Simply Stitched die collection, in three different colors ... Bright Buttercup, Raspberry Fizz and Lilac Grace. I created a background pattern using these rectangles and attached them to my card base.

I used one of the larger rectangles to create a base for my Fence Line Spring images to sit on. Some of my flowers were stamped directly onto the white and some were stamped and die-cut separately and then popped up with dimensional foam.

The sentiment is from the new Sentiment Staples: Congrats that was introduced yesterday.

My second card for today features the absolute cutest puppy sets ... Paws & Kisses and A Bit More: Paws & Kisses!

My card includes a bit of both of these new sets. Both the sentiment and hot dog are from Paws & Kisses and the cute little smaller pup is from A Bit More: Paws & Kisses.

I started by using the Noted Simply Stitched dies again to create a base for my images. I stamped my sentiment and then attached my die-cut pups just above. The polka dot paper is another new release this month! :)

After my pups were in place I added two red hearts that were die-cut using the coordinating Paws & Kisses die collection.

I finished it off with a bit of white twine before attaching it to my card base.

That's a wrap for me for Day 2, but there is still so much to see from the rest of the team. Hop on over to the Papertrey Ink blog to see more.

Thanks for taking the time to visit with me today!

Congratulations :

Papertrey Ink April Relase - Day 1 - Text & Texture: Agate + Geode Layers

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to Day 1 of this months Papertrey Ink Release Countdown. Today I am showcasing two new products ... the Text & Texture: Agate stamp set and the Geode Layers die collection. These two new products are so unique and will give you so many options when creating with them. As you visit the rest of the design team you will see just what I mean.

**All of the new products will be available April 15th at 10pm EST!**

To begin, I stamped a strip of Hawaiian Shores card-stock with the background image in the new Text & Texture: Agate set. I attached that to the front of my white card base and set that aside to start working on my sentiment.

Using the new Geode Layers dies I die-cut my 'rock' for my sentiment to sit on. This die collection has many different pieces that can be layered together or used all alone. I chose to just use one of them on my project for today. The one I used has a center piece and an outline piece. I die-cut it twice, once in white and once in the new gray that was introduced last month.

After stamping my sentiment in the center of the 'rock', I attached it to the center of my card. I wanted to dress it up a bit and make it more feminine, so I stamped and die-cut flowers and butterflies from Bunny Blessings. Those were then attached around my sentiment, some directly to my card and some with a bit of dimensional foam. To complete my card, I added a few clear sequins to give it a little sparkle

You won't want to miss what the rest of the team has created using these two amazing new products. Be sure to pop in and visit each of them and the Papertrey Ink blog for more inspiration ...

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I'll see you tomorrow with more new projects. Have a wonderful day!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #20 - Spring

It's time for the next Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge, friends! Who's ready? You will love this one because our focus this month is SPRING! I'm so happy that spring has arrived. It is still quite chilly in my neck of the woods, but the snow is melting and the birds are starting to chirp ... a wonderful sign that the warmer weather isn't too far away.

For my card I used Concord & 9th's Just Because Bundle. I have been creating with this set so much lately. I just love everything about it!

I did quite a bit of die-cutting and not a whole lot of stamping to create this. I started with a turquoise card base and attached all of my leaves (die-cut with the cross-hatch leave die) up the left side to create two rows. I die-cut  more leaves using a darker green and cut some of them to attach over my lighter green leaves. For my flowers, I chose bright white so they would POP! After attaching them all, I added colorful sequins to the centers.

Love this sweet and simple sentiment included in the set ... You inspire me! I stamped that in black onto a strip of white and popped it up with a bit of dimensional foam. And lastly, I added a few more sequins just above that.

I sure hope you'll join us in this in this challenge! You can read all of the challenge rules HERE incase this is your first time joining us!

Happy creating, friends!
