Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challege with Avery Elle

Playing along today in the Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challenge. This month they are featuring Avery Elle and these are the two sets I used to create my card...

I started by stamping my sentiment onto the front of my white card base. The 'HAPPY' 'BIRTHDAY' and 'YOU' are all from Totally Awesome and the 'To:' is from Sweet Tidings. I just love the little cupcake in Sweet Tidings and thought it would be perfect accent to my birthday card. I used the coordinating Sweet Tidings die collection to die cut three of them and then colored them in using the Copics you see in the photo above.

I wanted part of my sentiment to POP so I stamped another 'HAPPY' onto a separate piece of white card-stock, colored it in and then adhered it with a strip of foam adhesive. To finish, I added a few sequins to give it a little sparkle.

Thank you so much for visiting me today! I hope you enjoyed...Happy Friday to you!

You Are Absolutely Wonderful

Happy new week! Popping by today to share a card I created for the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge.

I used one of my favorite flower sets to create my card, Bold Blooms, along with the sentiment set, Totally Awesome. I started by using the 3 dots in Bold Blooms to create the polka dot background on my card-base. Next, on a piece of white card-stock, I stamped my sentiment and colored the 'WONDERFUL' in with a Copic marker. I added a strip of glitter along the side, as well as a bit of white twine. Then came the flowers. I die cut and stamped both the flowers and the leaves and then arranged them on my card before adhering them. And last but not least, the buttons were added to each flower.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed and hope you have a fabulous Monday!

Essentials by Ellen August Pin-Sights Challenge

http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/the_classroom_new/2016/08/essentials-by-ellen-august-pin-sights-challenge.html

Hello there! I'm joining in for the Essentials by Ellen August Pin-Sights Challenge today. There is so much inspiration in the photo below, but what I love most are the colors, so I chose to focus on those for the card I'm going to share.

Up the Happy is the stamp set I inked up for my project. I love the little butterfly and the font combination in the sentiments. I just recently purchased this set and I can already tell it's going to get a lot of love from me. :)

I kept my layout clean and simple...white card base with pops of happy colors. I simply stamped my butterflies in alternating colors across the bottom and top of my card front. I also included a matching stamped envelope, as you can see in the photo below. Next, using the Lawn Fawn circle dies, I die cut a piece of white card-stock for my sentiment and butterfly to sit on.

And to finish it off, I added two clear droplets to the center of my butterfly and some white twine along the side.

Thank you for stopping by my little blog today. I hope you enjoyed and hope you have a happy day!

Essentials by Ellen Calling All Artists

Kicking off this new week with a sweet + simple butterfly card as an entry into the Pin Sights Guest Artist Challenge. I had been eyeing the Up the Happy set for some time and finally made the purchase. So happy that I did!

I love simple cards with pops of color and chose a one layer card for this challenge. I simply stamped my butterflies randomly up my white card stock and then moved onto coloring each one in. Using the Copics you see in the photo (BG15, BG18, Y35, Y38) I filled in each little section. To complete my card, I added a sequin to the center of each butterfly and stamped my sentiment.

Thanks for visiting today!

Thinking of You Hydrangea

Happy Saturday, friends. Popping in this morning to share a quick card with you using the Mondo Hydrangea set from Ellen Hutson. I have to say that this is probably one of my favorite floral images at the moment. It has a permanent spot on my desk and has been getting lots of love.

To begin, I die cut the flower and leave using THIS watercolor paper. Next, I pulled out my watercolors and went to town coloring every inch of both pieces. After they were both dry, I stamped the outline stamp images, assembled my card and added black dots to the centers of my flowers. So happy with how this turned out...hope you enjoy!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today. I hope your Saturday is filled with lots of happy!

Essentials by Ellen June Pin-Sights Challenge

Happy Saturday! Today, I have a card to share for the Essentials by Ellen June Pin-Sights Challenge.

These colors...WOW! So much inspiration in this one little photo.

I mixed two of my favorite Essentials by Ellen stamp sets to create this card... Bold Blooms and Mondo Hydrangea. I started by stamping my piece of hot pink card-stock, using the three dots in the Bold Blooms set. After adhering that to the front of my card base, I attached to strips of light pink card-stock along the top and bottom. I die cut my flowers and leaves, stamped them and then added them with a bit of foam tape.

The clear droplets I added to the centers of my flowers are from Pretty Pink Posh. I added my sentiment and a bit of white twine along the side to complete it.

Thanks so much for popping in today!
